Aluminium poisoning may trigger Alzheimer’s disease, claims professor
Telegraph UK ^ | October 13, 2014 | Sarah Knapton

Professor Chrisopher Exley of Keele University claims that aluminium present in everyday items like cosmetics and food may be building up in the brain and causing Alzheimer's disease

Aluminium poisoning may be fuelling Alzheimer’s disease, a leading professor has claimed.

Professor Chrisopher Exley, of Keele University, said that exposure to the metal causes deposits in the human brain which can exacerbate other problems

...Aluminium, he argues, is now added to or used in almost everything we eat, drink, inject or absorb. The metal is abundant in the Earth’s crust and is naturally absorbed from the soil by plants and foodstuffs. But aluminium sulphate is also added to water to improve clarity, to cakes and biscuits as a raising agent and it is in tea, cocoa, wine and fizzy drinks

Was the alumininum-alzheimer’s link not debunked years ago when the cause of KURU/KJD was found to be prions?

And I thought it was all that beer that kept me out of Phi Beta Kappa. If I had been drinking straight from the tap instead of all those cans, I’d be a genius today.

Use iodine to detox fluoride. Also get a Berkey water filter to remove fluoride, chlorine, arsenic, etc.. from your drinking water.

RE: Deodorants/antiperspirant - For a while I made a home made deodorant with coconut oil, baking soda (aluminum free) and essential oils. It worked well, but I usually had to apply twice a day.

Then I read a blog where a woman raved about using lemon as deodorant. Just take a fresh lemon slice and pat under the arms where one would normally apply deodorant. It's crazy but it works like a charm.

Hold that thought Centurion

“The speed of a buffalo herd is only as fast as its slowest member. And when it is hunted, it is always the slowest and weakest ones that are devoured first. The general speed and health of the herd becomes better through this natural selection since the weaker members are devoured regularly. It is just as the same as the human brain where it only functions as fast as its slowest brain cells. As we know that alcohol, when taken excessively, exterminates brain cells but naturally, it attacks the inferior brain cells first. In this manner, moderate beer consumption eliminates weaker brain cells, making the brain function faster and more effecient. That’s why after gulping a few beers, you feel smarter.”

may be

Those two words are the most important words in the entire article.

may be building up in the brain

How grammatically close is “may not” to “may”?

may not be building up in the brain

That would be the “Beer Goggles”. They make a 2 at 10 look like a 10 at 2.

So of course I looked up elements in the earth's crust. #1 is oxygen, representing almost half the earth's crust at 461,000 ppm.

And now I have a sinking feeling that I'm walking on air.

“Alum” (aluminum sulfate) was used in pickles and as a component in baking powder,...

Alum was used in the early 1800s to "renew" old flour.

Something on the 5-6oz per a sack (280lbs?) of flour.

The best real clue about Alzheimer’s of late has come from dentists.

For many years they noted a connection between chronic gum disease and Alzheimer’s. The particular gum infection seemed to be from one or more of the five types of spirochete bacteria that typically live in the mouth.

Ordinarily, when blood is circulated to and from the brain, it must pass through the blood-brain filter, that limits bacterial infections in the brain. But some of the facial capillaries, especially with the gums, have a direct route to the brain.

So their hypothesis is that the bacteria travel to the brain, do not cause an infection there, but die there. And over years, their microscopic remains build up as the “plaque” associated with Alzheimer’s.

The best part is that if this is true, there is an easy and very inexpensive way to prevent it.

Before toothpaste was common, people brushed their teeth with a combination of baking soda and salt. And ordinary baking soda is known to kill all five of these spirochete bacteria within five seconds of exposure.

So what these dentists are now recommending is that once or twice a week, that people alternate using toothpaste with using common baking soda. (Baking soda toothpaste isn’t concentrated enough). The regular toothpaste helps prevent plaque and tartar build up on the teeth, and the baking soda kills off any spirochetes that take up residence.

This is ancient news and has been discredited for decades. Modern research is steadily zeroing in on the genetic defects responsible for Alzheimers.

Heard about this possibility for 20 years... You are supposed counteract it with Cabbage family of veggies; Cabbage, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, and Cauliflower... Supposedly the Sulfur (not Sulfate) in the veggies combines with the Aluminum and it comes out of solution, , and the kidneys flush it out of your system as a solid (not dissolved)...
