Sarah Palin Draws a Line in the Swamp: Rob Maness Must Win Senate Race Against Cassidy, Landrieu
breitbart.com ^ | 10/14/14 | Matthew Boyle

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee and a conservative kingmaker, is doubling her efforts in Louisiana to get retired Air Force Col. Rob Maness elected to the U.S. Senate over GOP Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and incumbent Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA).

“Those folks in Washington should visit Louisiana like I have recently,” Palin told Breitbart News exclusively when asked what to make of the GOP establishment efforts to push Maness out of the race. “The momentum, enthusiasm, and dedication for Rob Maness is real, and I've seen it – along with a few live gators! The other candidates have spent millions on the air bashing each other with uninspiring ads."

"Rob’s hard work and his one creative gator-wrestling ad got his message out. He campaigns much like we did in Alaska – going voter to voter and door to door," she explained. "He's visited all 64 of Louisiana’s parishes in his Ford F-150. He even drove it to the event we had two weeks ago. He's had 50 town halls and is the only candidate in the race to put forward positive, conservative solutions. He is the breath of fresh air Louisianans crave, and the polling data is reflecting that."

"I’m so glad ‘The Great One’ Mark Levin agrees and has jumped on board for Col. Maness, and I hope others will follow suit!” she stated.

If this guy was so well loved by the people in Louisiana why he is at best third in the polls?
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Because the GOP Establishment, and idiots like Sean Hannity, anointed Cassidy early on as the only one who can defeat Senator Thunder Thighs. The GOP is giving money to Cassidy and Col. Maness is depending on contributions from grassroots Conservatives. If you ever see an interview with Cassidy, you will know that he is a Loser, with a capital “L”.

I agree. I think Maness should be a good sport, quit the race, support Cassidy for Senator in ‘14 and Vitter for Governor in ‘16.

Vitter? Who is Vitter? Oh, I remember he’s the adulterer who screwed around on his wife. Well, screw him.

So when Ms. Landrieu is being sworn in as the Senator from LA. where will Ms. Palin be?
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The same place you were when Hussein Obama was sworn in for his second term because we did not have a candidate carrying a Conservative message. Does that answer your question, RINO lover?

Prepare to be attacked viciously.

Actually folks corrected him patiently.

Winner needs 50%.

Louisiana has an interesting race in that this is a ‘jungle primary’ where all the
candidates are listed on the ballot and you vote for one. If no one gets 50% on
Nov. 4, 2014 then the top two vote getters go to a runoff on Dec. 6, 2014.

Current polling shows Landrieu and Cassidy to be the top two but neither close
to the 50% threshold. Chances are that Maness may do better than he’s polling
so who knows how the Nov. 4 election will go.

Currently there are nine (9) canidates qualified and are to be listed on the ballot.
5 - Democrats
3 - Republicans
1 - Libertarian

Manes is not a conservative. He is a plant to take votes from Cassidy and give the runoff and election to Landrieu.

Huh? Is that you Karl Rove?

It's Maness, not Manes.

What concrete evidence do you have that Maness is a plant?

Cassidy is a full-bore RINO. He is a GOPe puke who will do the RINO bidding.

-- In return, Vitter and Cassidy endorse and support his run for Senate in '16. --

A sitting sentaor giving way to a challenger from the same party? ROTFL.

This is politics. Every man for himself.

Maness has the support of most people I know, but the GOP-E is pushing the hell out of the Rino clown Cassidy.

One thing good, little Mary ain't going to make it this time around, regardless.

Thanks for the ping. I’m with Sarah. I don’t know why so many people blame their fellow Freepers whenever the GOPe puts up a lousy candidate who loses, because people can’t stand voting for him.

It’s not our fault. McCain was a loser. Romney was a loser. But the GOPe stacks the primaries, stacks the rules, and keeps forcing these lousy candidates on us.

Here is an example of true Palin Derangement Syndrome. When someone posts something even slightly negative about Palin some person takes it as personal insult in Palin's name. To me that is closer to derangement than voicing an opinion about a public figure.

I’ve been suspicious of Jindal ever since he tried to raise legislators pay by a double digit percentage some years ago.
