Dallas Ebola Nurse Amber Vinson 'Should Not Have Traveled,' CDC Head Says
NBC News ^ | October 15, 2014

The latest Dallas nurse to contract Ebola boarded a plane in Cleveland two days ago with a slight fever and should not have flown, federal health officials said Wednesday.

Dr. Thomas Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, told reporters that the nurse had a temperature of 99.5 degrees before she got on the plane on Monday.

Because of that reading, and because she had treated Thomas Eric Duncan, the first Ebola patient diagnosed in the United States, the nurse should not have been on the plane, he said.

“She did not vomit. She was not bleeding,” Frieden said. “So the level of risk of people around her should be extremely low.”

Yes common sense should have told the nurse not to travel....but lacking that, the CDC was suppose to monitor these nurses, weren’t they?

Dr. Thomas Frieden . . . told reporters that the nurse had a temperature of 99.5 degrees before she got on the plane on Monday. Because of that reading, and because she had treated Thomas Eric Duncan . . . the nurse should not have been on the plane, he said.

Was she told not to travel if she developed a low-grade fever in advance, or is the CDC again claiming that a nurse violated protocols without any justification in the protocols?

Proof that whoever writes the scripts for the puppets at the CDC HAS to say something sensible every once in a while. Not only should she NOT have traveled but when she heard what was happening in her hospital in Dallas she was ethically bound to report to a Cleveland hospital foe quarantine!

Amber Vinson was identified as the second nurse in the Ebola scare, according to reports.

Then why the hell take temperature reading from people coming in from West Africa? Simply look for blood and guts on their clothes.

They she should not have traveled.

WHERE THE HELL IS THE CDC MAKING SURE THE PEOPLE ARE QUARANTINED?? NO SHIT SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE TRAVELED!! center for Disease CONTROL AND PREVENTION. Your job is to arrive in foreign countries when out brakes occur and recommend the entire village and inhabitants be napalmed and incinerated before it spreads. If does get here you ban travel and quarantine and SHUT THE GOD DAMNED BORDERS DOWN WITH SHOOT TO KILL ORDERS FOR ANYONE THAT ATTEMPTS TO CROSS.... PERIOD.

Nothing about when she went to Cleveland (or was she flying through there from somewhere else?). What did she do in Cleveland? Maybe a public event with thousands in attendance?
