I read somewhere that a VX round was used in an IED, but the chemicals didn’t mix prior to detonation. The firing of the projectile breaks one of the vials and the spin mixes the formula. The round wasn’t fired, so no mixing.
Do you know anything about that?

This one full of sarin precursors was set off and hurt some troops ; another one was discovered as part of an IED that didn’t go off; in that case it contained mustard gas/oil.

I do not recall a report on VX, but I do remember sarin and mustard gas reports.
