Government Sponsored Suicide– The US troops heading over to the Ebola stricken countries in West Africa are reportedly receiving just four hours of Ebola training. The Daily Beast reported:
As the U.S. military rushes to combat Ebola in West Africa, soldiers are receiving on-the-fly instructions on how to protect themselves against the deadly virus. American military operations to fight Ebola in Africa are unfolding quickly—forcing the military to come up with some procedures and protocols on the fly.
Soldiers preparing for deployment to West Africa are given just four hours of Ebola-related training before leaving to combat the epidemic. And the first 500 soldiers to arrive have been holing up in Liberian hotels and government facilities while the military builds longer-term infrastructure on the ground.
For soldiers at Fort Campbell and Fort Bragg preparing for their deployments to West Africa, Mobile Training Teams from the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), based out of Fort Detrick, have been tasked with instructing them on Ebola protocols.
A team of two can train as many as 50 personnel over that four-hour time frame, USAMRIID told The Daily Beast. The training includes hands-on instruction on how to put on, remove, and decontaminate personal protective equipment, followed by a practical test to ensure that soldiers understand the procedures.

No way these brave soldiers have a chance in Hell with 4 hours of training. Even though I am a strong backer of our military, this is one time I would find it ok for them to ignore orders. It is a death sentence.
Think of our borders right now: We are in the midst of a war against Islamic fanatics who would not hesitate for a second to kill every last single American citizen if they could and our borders are wide open with God knows who running across it. Has he sent any military down there to defend it? No. Yet at the drop of a hat he sends them to a infested country. Why? Because he is a radical Muslim and an enemy of the United States.

They let the guys die in Benghazi without even trying to help, they traded 5 of our enemy’s “generals” for one of our deserters, they put in horrific ROE, they called the mass murder of Ft Hood “workplace violence”, the VA is a travesty...AN WHAT HAPPENED? WHAT HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT IT? NOTHNG.

When I was in the Coast Guard, we couldn’t go look at an oil sheen in a busy harbor unless we had 40 hours HAZWOPER training. We are sending troops to West Africa to deal with Obola with 4 hours of on the fly training? I have no words for how deep into a custer fluck this country has fallen in the last 6 years. When will we get to the tipping point? When will it finally be enough for us to do something? How far do we have to be pushed before we push back?

I’m depressed by what our president has followed the muslim rules of order.
I too pray for these families and our Armed Forces. May none of them be subjected to the Ebola disease and may our president be subject to impeachment.
Our troops are warriors, not care givers. Even one of those warriors comes up with ebola, we all know on whose hands to place the blood.
“Were I in the military, I would be profoundly tempted to desert.” I agree. At the risk of repeating myself, I would rather take my chances with a court martian and risk some time in Portsmouth than go to a place where there is a good chance I would be infected with a deadly disease.
