For the record, I used to be like you - wouldn’t vote for someone I can’t stand. Then came Barry and I realized something is better than nothing.

Used to think if this Country goes down, rather have it go down under Democrat leadership than the GOP we have now.

Good.. I dont want it to survive in its current state. My loyalty is to the principles of the founders.. Not this country and NOT the government.

This government and a significant percentage of the population are “the bad guys”. Im not ok with that. Im not going to support it or try to save it. I want them crushed and buried because rehabilitation is a lost cause.

Obama isnt the problem, hes just a man. The problem is the cult like ideology of the left. Notice I didnt say democrats.. the GOPe are part of the left as well. If it wasnt Obama it would be someone else and it would be just as bad. Having a progressive with an R behind his name is only going to soothe the “team” mentality and make you feel better about STILL diving further into socialist tyranny.

Is it not conceivable to have such cheating infrastructure in place to have this confidence? They had such confidence in both 2008 and 12...for those “elections”.

Yes I am this cautious...this jaded.

I suspect 105% turnout in some districts...uprisings enough to declare martial law and liberal judges to declare those illegal aliens had a right to vote.

Even if Rs do win, some other martial law excuse like Ebola may ensue and winners won’t get seated.

His confidence is not immature mistakes...madness yes, but snowflake of planning and infrastructure from his cabal/commie posse.

No, they will not do that. The Chair is always from the majority party. The members are filled in proportion to their numbers in the Senate, Republicans will have at least one more member on each committee than the Democrats will have.

Knowing how the Democrats operate, I would not count my chickens before they hatch. What did you do to tick off the mods in post 1?

Committee chairs mean nothing if the GOP isn’t interest in using them to substantively oppose the Obama agenda. Actions not words.

McConnell is planning a preemptive surrender in the lame duck with an omnibus spending bill. The GOP losership can’t even wait till the new Congress to give away their power and fully fund the Obama agenda.

What are your feeling about that, FRiend?

All committee chairs are currently Democrats, mostly hard core lefties, commies, and identity group zealots. They are engaged in a criminal conspiracy with Harry Reid, Barack Obama, and Eric Holder to transform our government into a socialist tyranny. I think having them out of power will be a change for the better. We can then work toward stiffening the knees and straightening the spines of wobbly Republicans.

Or just plain replacing them with principled conservatives, in an orderly fashion.

And keep in mind that the map on the linked page isn’t necessarily the best case scenario either: it is giving NC to Hagan when at this point it is within the margin of error (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2014/senate/nc/north_carolina_senate_tillis_vs_hagan-3497.html)

No one get too excited because anything can happen but it’s the GOP’s to lose.

Committee chairs mean nothing if the GOP isn’t interest in using them to substantively oppose the Obama agenda.

Republican "committee chairs" means that Republicans have a majority control of the committees. What comes out of that committee largely depends on the votes and actions of the Republican members of that particular committee, not just the chair.

That means the TEApublicans will at least have a fighting chance to change, propose, or completely stop things. It all depends on who's on any given committee.

With RAT chairs....fogedaboutit.

I posted the charts from the original article. Not sure why that is taboo, but I understand.

McConnell intends to fully fund the Obama agenda in the lame duck. Committees will be little more than debate clubs and potemkin opposition to obama under his “leadership”. McCain is already talking about “bipartisanship” on confirmations.

No matter the crime, House committees have steadfastly refused to directly engage obama the past four years. A GOP Senate will be no better.

McConnell...McCain...

The RINOs need to be beaten...daily...by us. If you don't your're the same as the Vichy Republicans you're complaining about.

House committees have steadfastly refused to directly engage obama the past four years.

You mean other than the 420 House bills in Harry Reids's trash can?

Remember when the Republicans last had control of all three branches of government? We accomplished exactly nothing conservative. We increased the size and scope of government apace. We got John Roberts. FAIL

Listen to the silence coming from “our” leadership. They’ve got nothing for us. No guts, no principles, no desire to crush the enemy, because they don’t see them as enemies. And besides, they’re all lawyers and members of the elite.

All the procedural advantages mean squat if you don’t have the courage or desire to WIN.
