Yeah this new Ebola Czar appears more and more to be a ‘perfect’ pick. He said this in 2008 when asked what the top leadership issue challenging our world today:

“I think the top leadership challenge issue in our world today is how to deal with the continuing, growing population in the world and all the resource demands it places on the world and burgeoning populations in Africa and Asia that lack the resources to have a healthy, happy life,” Klain said.

“We’ve got to find a way to make the world work for everyone,” Klain said. “Climate change is an issue that impacts [sic] that greatly by making it harder for people to live where they live, by causing disruptions, and lack of resources.”

You’ll have to really crank up the volume if you want to hear it:

Years ago, I read Gore’s book, A Convenient Lie.

In it, Gore’s basic premise is that global warming is destroying the earth, yes.

However.

His solution to global warming, ultimately, wasn’t carbon reduction, credits, or taxes. Ultimately, the only cure for global warming is serious population rollback.

Gore goes out of his way to make the point that the largest “human footprint” isn’t the individual one, but the collective footprint of 8 billion souls.

Don’t discount for one minute that climate change (progressive is to liberal as climate change is to global warming) is synonymous with the left’s depopulation theory.

“We’ve got to find a way to make the world work for everyone,” Klain said."

The two fastest growing major economies in the world are India and China. Most of Southeast Asia and most of Latin America are cracking right along. All have problems, but the world, outside of sub-Saharan Africa and the Muslim dead zone in the middle east, has figured out that it doesn't have to be poor. In another 20 years, poverty will be the exception, not the norm, unless the anti-free market, anti-technology, anti-growth left gets its way.

The key point is that the cure for overpopulation is prosperity for a host of now-familiar reasons. Populations from native increase in ALL advanced countries are stabilizing, and aggregate growth is due to immigration. The left wants to grow government to (among other things) ration artificial scarcity. This keeps people poor, and is the best guarantee possible of future population growth.

Smart people across the political spectrum have figured this out, and it is conventional wisdom among the international development set. The only people who pretend not to understand it are the leftists, who seek to grow government to maximize their own power, and for whom population growth is just one more false flag issue of convenience.

Whenever the Liberals are in power, all you have to do is turn over the nearest rock and all these vermin crawl out.

Ghost of Christmas Present to Ebenezer Scrooge:

“If these shadows remain unaltered by the Future, none other of my race,” returned the Ghost, “will find him here. What then? If he be like to die, he had better do it, and decrease the surplus population.” Scrooge hung his head to hear his own words quoted by the Spirit, and was overcome with penitence and grief.

“Man,” said the Ghost, “if man you be in heart, not adamant, forbear that wicked cant until you have discovered what the surplus is and where it is. Will you decide what men shall live, what men shall die? It may be that in the sight of heaven, you are more worthless and less fit to live than millions like this poor man’s child. O God! to hear the Insect on the leaf pronouncing on the too much life among his hungry brothers in the dust!”

They love humanity but hate mankind.

The urban criminal subcultures are the place to begin the elimination. That is his message.

WASS - We Are Soooooo Screwed!

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

The key to their hypocrisy is the fact they are eager to sell "carbon offsets".
