Interesting to see a African American studies professor addressing this issue. His commparisons relate primarily to AAs who want a separate country, not those who wish to be a part of American society. IMO a small minority. As to Israel crafting a new message for the African American community in the US, I don't think that's necessary.

The answer to the headline’s question is simple. Most blacks do not like Jews, period. That has been my observation for the half century I have been alive. That would be my answer in a truthful, honest “conversation”. The better question to ask is “why”.

Because most of them who have been schooled by the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, et al. Many of whom at one time or another have been caught disparaging Jews with outright epithets, or just by insinuation.

Anybody have that one page summary of the Israel conflict in regards to facts about territories? I forget which organization put it out, but I used to see it in National Review on the back cover or inside cover. It was great as it had maps and details. Need to brush up on it for encounters with liberals. Thanks

Very simply, black racists [Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan] hate Jews and it rubs off on the rest of their black sheeple followers. I have never understood the enmity between the two groups, but they still vote for Donkeys 90+ percent of the time. The Donkey Party doesn't care if the blacks and Jews kill each other so long as they vote for Donkeys.

American Jews have been heavy supporter of African-American issues for as long as I can remember. They have been NAACP’s largest financial backers. black universities, etc.
The American blacks owe the Israelites at least a kind word.
