The Russian Communist Party's "Red Line" television channel has received a license for broadcasting.
Party leader Gennady Zyuganov made the announcement on October 18 and said the channel would soon start broadcasting "all over Russia."
Red Line already posts broadcasts on the Internet.
A statement on the channel's website said, "Our mission is to become a source of information and a platform for discussions among smart, thinking people, who are not indifferent to the ways Russia and the world are developing."
The channel said it would be airing documentary films, special reports, political talk shows, and interviews with scholars, politicians, economists and public figures who "for various reasons have been blocked from access to federal channels."
Just what the world needs, another liberal network.
What do you think the state-owned Russian TV channels are?
After years of improvement, our Russian relations are in a shambles under Obama.
Have they put in to moderate Hillary’s first presidential debate?
They now have MSNBC
Oh... It’s PBS...
The Russians already have MSNBC. Could have saved themselves some rubles.
LOL
~To understand the significance of this, this is a country where haggling over getting a federal license to broadcast is not your real problem. Your problem is avoiding being beaten on your way to work on the subway or shot in your driveway by unidentified “thieves” who don’t even take your wallet from your corpse.~
Are you compassionate to communist oppositioners or what?
WEll, we let GoreAcle have one - what’s the difference? -
Not to mention the rest of the media and net news are commies, controlled by the white hut.
It’s our OWN house we need to worry about
Communist party is part of Putin’s “controlled opposition”. Putin keeps it around for the illusion of choice, but they do what he wants them to do.
That is nonsense. Unlike you, I have visited Russia safely quite a few times and have seen no such thing.
America, what a country, where you have all these wonderful TV channels.
In Russia is only two channels. Channel One is propaganda; Channel Two is KGB colonel saying “Turn back to Channel One!”
Here is the result of a quick google search for all those murders and beatings you failed to witness walking down Putin Blvd:

Maybe you should keep your eyes open better as you are walking Lenin and Stalin street next time you are in Sevastopol.
Let us put it this way, there is NO TV channel in Russia that are allowed to diss Putin. If Putin is allowing the commies on TV, it is because they have common cause.
