The wordsmithing is done very carefully in this article. It does not say what her degrees are in? It does not say she is a registered nurse. I think her degrees are in some sort of health administration, or public health policy. Perhaps Social Services?

There’s some truth on both sides here. Most all the criticism of her seems to be valid but “there should have been someone in charge” and “they should have treated her like a human being and not a lab specimen” also.
If a conservative was holed up by CDC or DHS you’d hear a lot more whining than came from her.

People who experience those sorts of things do not blather it out to strangers. They internalize it to the general public, and share it in small limited doses among groups or persons close.
I smell a PR campaign working this woman. Perhaps our new Ebola Czar controlling the message?

and Obama and his attack dogs are pressuring NJ and NY to reduce their quarantine restrictions on U.S. citizens that are returning from Ebola infested nations and who have had contact with Ebola patients...

I bet if I flicked a booger at her seat in her favorite fair trade vegan cafe’ in Georgetown, she’d throw a hissy fit and demand my arrest.

Tapper is a true believer in something, but I think he's having trouble deciding what it is. Sometimes his earnestness would be precious if he were five years old, but here again, he is assuming that people are just mean and unreasonable toward this nurse. As though it were part of the nature of Americans to be nasty to so-called "heroes" for some mysterious, latent cause that he can't figure.
Well, Jake, we have high standards for heroism and one of them is to bear it well, with stoic grace and thankfulness that oneself is alive to complain about it.

They’d (the conservatives would) claim the quarantine was because of their political views.

I’ve got to say I’m astounded by the recklessness of Doctors Without something Bordering on standards. I really admired these people before all of this appalling craziness. Wow. No intention whatsoever to self-quarantine.

A Sandra Fluke who was too stupid to go to law school and couldn't pass MCATS, so she went into public policy, health policy, psychology, and social services.
I repeat, there is no RN, after her name. Maybe a LCSW is about as close to being a Nurse as she could get?
