Mitt Romney, who lost the 2012 election to President Barack Obama, has been traveling the country making appearances on behalf of Republican candidates in this year's midterm election. At one of these events in Nebraska on Monday evening, Romney unleashed a scathing assault on the "terrible" Obama administration.

It was like a Republican standup special with a constant stream of jokes and barbs about Obama's policies and leadership abilities.

Romney began by declaring he didn't care about upsetting Obama.

"If you're running for office they tell you it's not a good idea to tell jokes alright. because you always offend someone," said Romney. "But I'm going to tell you one about the president and I don't care if he's offended."

Romney, who was campaigning for Nebraska GOP Senate candidate Ben Sasse, went on to make a crack about Obama not having "a clue" that he's used in other recent appearances.

"Look, I'm not a big fan of the president's as you may understand, but even I have been disappointed by what I've seen over the last six years," Romney said. "Because he promised some things, but hasn't been able to deliver those things."

Yes, we all know that Romney is the King of RINOs. No, none of us think he’s the right candidate for 2016.

But there is buyers remorse over electing Obama in 2012, his public standing numbers are up and he’s saying the right things in the right places in ways that will benefit GOP candidates.

So, since we’re all on the same page that we don’t like him, didn’t like him as a 2008 or 2012 candidate, don’t want him in 2016 and won’t vote for him let alone support or work for him, what’s the big deal here?

Now, we learn he doesn’t care whether or not that Obama becomes offended of a joke; when he sees the polls are moving more against Obama, he seems comfortable in speaking this. What a brave man that Mitt Romney is!

Yep. Same one. And he is still not as bad as Obola.

Every ballot I have cast since Reagan has been for the lesser of 2 evils.

I am sick and tired of not having anything to vote FOR.

About two years too last. Should have bitchslapped Candy Crowley during the presidential debates. It would have guaranteed him the election but he wussed out.

Romney has his chance and he blew it. Time to move over and move on. We need a leader, not a polite wimp.

Mitt was a vicious infighter against his republican opposition during the primaries then turned into a powder puff against Obama.

Too little too late, indeed. As Bob Grant would say, he’s a fake, phony, fraud. Pleasant man, maybe, but gutless, pusillanimous and unprincipled.

Is that why he supports Abortion, the Gay Agenda, Global Warming, Amnesty, Socialized Medicine, and wanted to ban "Assault Weapons"?

Simma down now! I simply said he loves America. Of that I am sure. No fundamental changes from him. Is he a lousy republicant, yes. Conservative? No.

I simply said he loves America. Of that I am sure.

That was my point.

I'm not sure what Mitt Romney loves given what he supports and has supported.

Given the left-wing policy positions he has supported, he is a Progressive Liberal, of that I am sure.
