Brilliant response to a gotcha question by hostile media. They wanted Cruz to attack CEO of one of the most popular companies with young people, thus spinning that he is a bigot, or a theocrat, or a behind the times old man. His response is clear, articulate, intelligent, and conservative. He brings it back to issues that people actually care about including people who are moderate, young, and pro gay; Constitutional limitations on concentrations of power, local autonomy by limiting the federal government, democracy vs judicial oligarchy. He comes off reasonable and intelligent, and avoids the trap of preaching in a political forum.
This man will be a great President. Not just for Freepers or conservatives or Christians; the whole country will benefit from having such a mature and reasoned man at its helm.
Ted Cruz 2016!!!

Cruz is definitely smart enough to succeed in 2016.
But will the media allow people to hear what he has to say? They will not.
He's gonna need to get creative to get his message across.

For most people, Tim Cook remains a faceless executive, even after (over)sharing his lifestyle data with us. We don’t care about that. Just don’t go all Facebook-ish and start selling our private info to the government’s highest bidder.

I’m going to bet that Cruz gets raked over the coals for his suggestion that ‘it’s his decision’ as opposed to some statement that would suggest that he agrees that this is just simply a part of ‘who Timmy is’....

Cruz and his supporters think they can bob and weave and triangulate and thread the needle and figure the odds.
I have news for them. God will not be mocked. Those who deny Christ will be denied by him before his Father.

"He brings it back to issues that people actually care about" So the homosexual agenda isn't an issue that "BurningOak" actually cares about? "Burning" is apt for you or will be.

“Brilliant response to a gotcha question by hostile media.”
Not really, because marriage has legal implications and people move around to much. The Feds need to refuse to acknowledge queer marriage in any form.
If left to the states the courts will ram it down our throats. No way will they settle for queers being married in one state, and not in another.

If we run another candidate like a Bob Dole or a John McCain or a Mitt Romney, we will end up with the same result, which is millions of people will stay home on Election Day, Cruz then said.
He added that they were all good, honorable men.
I like Cruz. I just wish he would have left that out. We talk about them not being who we should have running, and then confuse things by saying they're good honorable men. If they are good honorable men, why shouldn't they run?
This confuses the general public. It's a mistake to characterize them in this manner. Just refuse to categorize them once you've said they shouldn't run, unless you want to reinforce why.

I’m so very glad the MSM is doing important work like trying to destroy conservative candidates and not focusing on trivial stories like the Federal Government planting evidence on investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson’s computer.

The Federal Government cannot micromanage the lives of 300 million people, and should not try. Cruz is correct.
