‘Lone Wolf’ terror attacks: We're sitting ducks and Americans with guns are last line of defense
Fox News ^ | October 30, 2014 | John R. Lott Jr.

The recent spate of “lone wolf” terrorist attacks both here and in Canada seem to have come out of nowhere. And it’s clear that they have left Americans and Canadians as sitting ducks.

Simply by using the Internet, ISIS has encouraged “lone wolf” individuals. These “wolves” have initiated attacks on their own with no planning or coordination with others and without leaving a trail of clues about their intentions. Law enforcement authorities and our government are not well suited to defend against such individual terror strikes. As Israel has learned about such attacks, there are just too many targets to defend.

....At the same time, we have to go after the terrorists. Look for the FBI to call upon the help of the law obeying folks.

All they need to do to go after the terrorists is to profile - something the FBI will never do if it involves the words “Muslim” or “Islam.”

Yet the profile practice WORKS in countries such as Israel.

I think it works because the profilers are not hamstrung by politicians with political correctness mania.

No matter how you slice, dice, scatter, smother, or cover it, acts of terrorism against this country have been shown to be by Muslims - by FAR. Statistically significant and damned near a universal constant.

Mosin-Nagant

Realize they were mostly shot by Russians wearing thick Winter uniforms.

I wouldn’t shoot one with a metal butt plate without a nicely padded shooting jacket. I like my shoulder too much.

They’re still a great surplus buy.

If you and your friend haven’t seen this, you need to:

Just learned how to completely disassemble/re-assemble my Ruger Mark II. If you can do that successfully 5 times *in a row*, you get the grand prize.

The tricks are to not lose the little pin and how to twist it upside down and side-wise when getting ready to close the little lever thingee...

I'm not sure who said it, I think it was Golda Mier:

When everyone is a target, then everyone is a soldier.

So make ready. And remind me later to thank all our elected elites who have brought us to this sad juncture.

Didn't she also say something about how it would go on until they loved their children more than they hated the Israelis?

Starting to look like it will go on until He returns because the only other alternative would be to eradicate the bad guys and nobody has the stomach/will for it.

Fall and winter are my favorite times of the year since I get to switch out my concealed carry holsters with more comfortable varieties. Carrying a weapon is a burden but one I believe every American should have to bear for safety. It would be nice if we could get back to a time when open carry of a firearm was not only accepted but seen as the mark of a responsible man (or woman). The constant concern about printing or accidental exposure is my biggest.

LOL!

I like this comment at your link: It’s easy to confuse a Mosin muzzle flash with an oil well fire.

If “lone wolf” attacks break out in numbers, I would bet every moozlum in America will have a big problem. How unfortunate.

The trick is being able to do it twice in a row. Every time I think I got it down pat..........

The key to the Ruger reassembly is to remember that gravity is your friend. Gravity is the only way to keep that link aligned to the mainspring.

Muslim at the Eutaw Spa was stating the same thing to me last evening, along with anti-capitalism rant. If security services are monitoring FR, then know he is employed in Cumberland Co, NC as a CAD Road Design employee. Imagine how one feels when the local practitioner of Islam says all American’s are the problem....
