Kleenex tissue maker Kimberly-Clark Corp. is being sued for more than $500 million for allegedly falsely claiming their surgical gowns protect against Ebola.
California law firm Eagan Avenatti filed the suit Wednesday saying Kimberly-Clark continued to claim the Breathable High Performance Surgical Gown provided the highest protection, despite failing industry tests for protection against infectious diseases, including Ebola.

Those sales and marketing guys will get you in trouble.
This is just the BEGINNING of the Ebola Litigation Lottery, folks...
Maybe so, but the point is still the same: don’t claim your product can do something that it really can’t- especially when human lives are at risk based on the claim.
I hate ambulance chasers. They should all be disbarred.
Do they have a good case?
Depends.....
I see what you did there....lol
How much under the table money or opulent paid trips to exotic places were give to the CDC thugs who recommend the bs shown below:
A question being asked by a lot of freepers, "Excuse my language, but how in the **** are the hospital personnel contracting Ebola while supposedly in protective gear "
The answer to this critical question is shown below. The woman/HCW in the protective gear is/was wearing the CDC's recommendation for protective gear.
Below is a photo of the deputy as he was being admitted to the Dallas hospital. Look at the lack of coverage by the so called Haz Mat gear around the HCW's throat. Also, the deputy's legs/thighs are bare and could spread whatever during his transport in the Dallas hospital.
*Cui Bono means "Who Benefits", and old Latin term for follow the money.
Cleanroom 101 - FAIL
better, they should be thrown under the ambulance..... a Type 3 bigg’un
By the way....... ambulance chasers bake and eat most of the cake. Defense lawyers and judges survive on the crumbs.
It is a cabal
Here’s a bit more on the suit..
Why do they need gown? Ebola is extremely difficult to contract. Nearly impossible according to government officials. Why, unless you are bathing in bodily waste and fluids, there is nothing to worry about. And even then there is only a miniscular chance of getting the disease.
Amazing isn’t it.
Now with the internet and photos we know how CDC,these companies and hospitals who didn’t care have put HCW’s into dangerous situations, and now they will get hammered.
” I hate ambulance chasers. They should all be disbarred.”
“I hate ambulance chasers. They should all be HUNG”
Fixed it.
I mean, come on people, even if you're not trained in high level bio haz and containment it's not difficult to spot bad protection and containment. You'd think these people would have a modicum of instinctual self preservation
It sure didn’t take long for the lawyers to get involved, genning up imagined torts, and injuries, and looking for deep pockets.
They probably made the gowns to outperform CDC standards concerning ebola.
Never trust the government.
I would guess that statistically, many are “hung”!
I hate ambulance chasers. They should all be HUNG
“They said you was hung”
“And they was right”.
