Ted Cruz: Republicans On Verge Of ‘Historic Election’
Daily Caller ^ | 11:21 PM 10/30/2014 | Alex Griswold

Posted on 10/31/2014 8:36:29 AM PDT by SoConPubbie

Appearing on “Hannity,” Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz said that he believed Republicans were on the cusp of an “historic election.”

You know, what I’m seeing on the ground is a lot of excitement, a lot of enthusiasm. I think we are on the verge of an historic election night next Tuesday. I think Republicans are going to retake the U.S. Senate. I think we’re going to retire Harry Reid as Majority Leader. And I tell you Sean, at this point it all comes down to if conservatives show up and vote, and if we get our friends and family and others to show up and vote, we’re going to retake the Senate, and I think that’s exactly what’s going to happen.

And then what?

Do you think that Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin, and Allen West want them defeated? I wish we could ask them and get their responses here.

Frankly, I don't care.

While I hold them in the highest esteem (Cruz, Palin, and West), I make my own decisions about whom I support, and these traitors to conservatism (Cochran, McConnell, Graham, etc.) I simply want gone from the political landscape.

“However many posters on FR are very dismayed with a Republican victory.”

However many posters on FR care nothing for a conservative victory. If Harry Reid switched parties, the GOPe cheerleaders would be telling us how that just made Ted Cruz more powerful.

I'm not dismayed, But I suspect we'll get yet another view of the underside of the bus.

However many posters on FR are very dismayed with a Republican victory.

It will be a hollow victory unless the pubbies produce tangible results:
defund/roll back:
1) obamacare
2) Dept of Energy
3) Dept of Edu
4) stop all liberal judge appts
5) onerous job-killing regulations, etc. etc.

Aren't you glad the Founders of this Great Country felt the same way?

“Aren’t you glad the Founders of this Great Country felt the same way?”

I am, I’m glad they weren’t too stupid to understand that they first had to rid themselves of British rule before they would have a chance to build something better.

I’m glad they weren’t too chicken$hit to fight to remove their oppressors, without knowing if they could win, or if their new government would be better.

I kinda doubt that if they were here today they would stand around with their thumb up their a$$ wondering if they should remove Reid from power, because they didn’t know how good McConnel would be.

They were smart enough to do first things first, and know nothing can change until Reid’s power is removed!

If you think for a second that they would be backing McConnell or voting for him after what he did in the Cochran race or for any of the GOP-E types supporting Amnesty, then you know squat about the Founders and are abusing the memory of them.

And one more thing, that stupid line has been fed to conservatives for a decade now and what has it gotten us???

A GOP that has moved further and further to the left and more and more antagonistic to conservatives as the history of this election proves with their attempt to take out and destroy great Tea-Party (A.K.A. Conservative) candidates.

Cruz, don’t tell that to those on Free Republic, they think all of the elections are going to be lost due to fraud.
