Ebola predictions are starting to pick up steam, with those in the scientific community estimating that there could be anywhere from one to 130 additional cases in the United States by years end.
In a report from the Associated Press, scientists emphasized that they did not think the Ebola outbreak would hurt the U.S. as badly as it has other countries, but they did not rule out the possibility that there would be more diagnoses within Americas borders.
I dont think theres going to be a huge outbreak here, no, said Dr. David Relman....

Obama is possibly trying to wipe out the population and bring in illegal immigrants by the 2016 elections.
But if this place were one big Ebola plague, then who could convince illegales to come any more?
The thing is, it didn't have to hurt the US at all.
Who knows? But I wouldn’t put anything past him.
Other countries have supposedly blocked it out completely.
Given the weird nature of this disease that might be overly optimistic an estimation. Sometimes it kills, sometimes it only sickens and could be mistaken for a flu.
If being deadly depended on a second infection with something else that is common in Africa and not common elsewhere, then there might be more Ebola in the world than we recognize.
Maybe that’s his solution to illegal immigration,....sucker them all in, then ebola them all???.
ANY cases of Ebola here are a direct result of an incompetent unionized government unable to fulfill its basic function to protect its citizens.
There’s no way to keep infallible track of people here, let alone outside the borders of the USA.
I’m surprised in the other direction... that it is not WORSE.
I will surprised if it doesn’t end up worse. It seems that there are only a certain amount of beds for isolation and a certain amount of Hazmat type suits for those beds. In other words the world is not awash with preparations for this and don’t seem in that much of a hurry to prepare better or exclude/quarantine those who are a risk. I wonder if once the numbers get above the spaces available for high quality healthcare then will a lot of countries be any better off than West Africa.
Going to take more than 130 cases to do that.
Pray Psalm 91 over our nation. God keeps His promises!
Psalm 91
1 As for you, the one who lives in the shelter of the sovereign One,
and resides in the protective shadow of the mighty king
2 I say this about the Lord, my shelter and my stronghold,
my God in whom I trust
3 he will certainly rescue you from the snare of the hunter
and from the destructive plague.
4 He will shelter you with his wings;
you will find safety under his wings.
His faithfulness is like a shield or a protective wall.
5 You need not fear the terrors of the night,
the arrow that flies by day,
6 the plague that comes in the darkness,
or the disease that comes at noon.
7 Though a thousand may fall beside you,
and a multitude on your right side,
it will not reach you.
8 Certainly you will see it with your very own eyes
you will see the wicked paid back.
9 For you have taken refuge in the Lord,
my shelter, the sovereign One.
10 No harm will overtake you;
no illness will come near your home.
11 For he will order his angels
to protect you in all you do.
12 They will lift you up in their hands,
so you will not slip and fall on a stone.
13 You will subdue a lion and a snake;
you will trample underfoot a young lion and a serpent.
14 The Lord says,
Because he is devoted to me, I will deliver him;
I will protect him because he is loyal to me.
15 When he calls out to me, I will answer him.
I will be with him when he is in trouble;
I will rescue him and bring him honor.
16 I will satisfy him with long life,
and will let him see my salvation.
Now you see son, I say, I say, now you can see the whole—look at me when ah’m talkin to you boy ... this was supposed to be the whole reason for keepin’ these heah, Ah say, these heah Ebola-raddled disease vectors over theah, an’ not heah!
Dr. Foghorn Q. Leghorn
That’s what they said in Sierra Leone back in late May when they had their first case from Guinea. 5 months later they are over 5,000 cases reported with some villages having 39 dead out of 40 inhabitants.
Going to take more than 130 cases to do that.
Point No. 1...Obama and the dims lie about everything
So they are lying about global warming/ climate change /whatever
Point 2. So we can expect global cooling
Since the Sun's magnetic field is in decline and no sunspots expected after about 2017
Last time that happened resulted in a 400 year long mini ice age
That's going to wipe out a big percentage of the population.

I’m not sure where you got that impression; the current strain of Ebola virus is 70% lethal. To give that some perspective; according to Stanford University the 1918 Pandemic of Spanish Influenza was only 2.5% lethal. Of course influenza is spread much more easily than Ebola ...at least we hope it stays that way.

Perhaps you were confusing the initial symptoms of Ebola; which often resembles influenza (fever, headache, sore throat, muscle pain).
Great reporting.
*yawn* C’mon guys. I remember this kind of crap back during the swine flu days, and here we are, still living la vida loca.
Without a flight ban and quarantine our medical system, which on paper seems good enough to the President/Administration to weather the storm, will evaporate this Winter/Spring.
Not specifically our medical system but our medical personell will evaporate. Our people are materialistic and not sufficiently Christianized. They will look out for themselves and their families. They have not signed up for risk equivalent to being a soldier in war lwhere your life is at risk and consequently potentially your families lives.
They will get freaked out and frazzled by flu season and when an ebola case arrives on their ward...they will walk.
The risk is too high and too much piled on by a President who doesnt seek to protect us or them. A President who doesnt realize the fragility of the systems and people we have and who doesnt seek to protect them. Consequently, he has put us all out on the front line, not battle tested, not trained and against a formidable enemy.
