Holy Moley Did everyone see the Map for the House? The entire continental USA was almost totally red! Even most of the counties in California was red. Talk about a wave - more like a tsunami for the house.

As of this post time:
Senate: Republicans have locked up 52 seats, ahead in 0 more (66 needed for a two thirds majority / super majority)
Senate: Democrats have locked up 43 seats, ahead in 2 more
House: Republicans have locked up 237 seats, ahead in 7 more (291 needed for a two thirds majority / super majority)
House: Democrats have locked up 159 seats, ahead in 26 more
Governors: Republicans have locked up 28 seats, ahead in 5 more
Governors: Democrats have locked up 14 seats, ahead in 1 more
I would like to invite folks to use the Los Angeles Times Senate, House, and Nationwide State Gubantorial candidate breakdowns. It's a fairly good indicator of where things are headed.
Note: Make sure ALL is selected. Then you can click on Senate, House, or Governors
These categories show current wins and gains. (Ex: Republican = 44 +4 / Democrats = 38 +2) Note: + denotes leading in that many races in addition to already locked up
LINK
Folks, use the link, click all, and check out the U.S. Map showing the Congressional territory. You'll be shocked at the area in red.

Ugh, no doubt Malloy will “find” enough votes to win. Oh well, I guess we can’t have it all.

Oh my gosh, I can't stand it!
Are we up to 50% reporting? I can't think... local stations calling us a nail biter. I need a cup of coffee, so hopeful!!!
To: greeneyes
I am very confused about Utah 4 now. Google had over 80% reporting with Mia Love down 7
Now it says 26% reporting, Mia Love down by 4
What is going on there?

Glad to see some sanity return next door in MD.
We are still mired in Dem land here in DE.
But Sussex County went Republican—we are the part of the state that retains its sanity.

“Dont fret. Edwards got all of 30% (with 2 other Dems bumping it up to 35%), the GOP candidates got almost all the remaining 65%.”
Yep, I know. But jeez, the voters of Louisiana get stupid ideas in their heads sometimes (kinda like my state, Minnesota).
I just hope that Edwards doesn’t become the “IN” thing for voters to go and say “Oh cool, a convict as my next Congressman!”

Yeah, but try telling the “do what Palin says” club that Cassidy wasn’t a “RINO”.
I hope nothing “funny” happens in the runoff.

Why the heck can’t we count the votes when the polls closed here in CT 4 and a half hours ago (4 hours in Hartford)?
