You’re right, I think I messed it up, and it doesn’t look good.

Here’s the latest I can find:

CO Governor...91.8% reporting:

Beauprez - 47.5% 870,049

Hickenlooper - 48% 878,078

What a stain on an otherwise good night.

Thanks.

GOP win NY State Senate!

Cecilia Tkaczyk, who stole it 2 years ago, is defeated!

Fox is smug, they bitched at and mocked Scott Brown for not conceding when they called NH for the rat.

Ok we know CNN is a joke, MSNBC is joke, network news is on life support, but show some damn humility for a change, Fox, or you might join the others.

Maybe Manchin will turn GOP? Angus King already said he will caucus with Repubs.

I'll take Manchin. They can keep Angus.

Not at all. I wouldn’t have minded even had the election results not been as great.

Well then. ;D

Florida says no to “medical” Marijuana it needed a supermajoirty of 60%, didn’t get it.

Nevada

Dude!!!! 25-17 in the Assembly!!! +3 in the Senate.

A bit of bad news

Doug LaFollete (D) unfortunately hangs on to the WI Sec of State office again.

IL GOP apparently gains not a single seat in the legislature, rats over 3/5 in both houses, veto proof, just needed to gain 1 in the House to break that. That’s bad.

Another big result from last night: TN voters approved Amendment 1, which amends the state constitution to permit the legislsture to pass laws restricting or banning abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2014/11/05/tennessee-voters-approve-amendment-1-will-allow-pro-life-laws-to-stop-abortions/

Disappointed for Bauprez. GOPe ditched him it seems. How did the rats sweep the Iowa state senate when they got crushed for senate, governor, and lost a House seat?

I don’t know, they took 1 open GOP seat (not Joanie’s) that sounds like it was rat leaning and 1 of their incumbents lost to a Republican in what sounds like a GOP leaning seat, so it stays 26-24 rat.

http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/elections/2014/11/05/iowa-legislature-balance-of-power/18490901/

GOP hasn’t won the IA Senate since 2002. Lame.

How did Bruce Rauner win every country in IL but Cook and yet GOP gained not 1 state leg seat here? Lame.

“Disappointed for Bauprez. GOPe ditched him it seems. “

That would be something, all I heard during the primary was that he WAS GOPE.

It usually comes down to “all politics is local” and “it’s always the candidate”; all those Iowa split-tickets reinforce that idea.

As of this post time:

Senate: Republicans have locked up 52 seats, ahead in 1 more  (66 needed for a two thirds majority / super majority)
Senate: Democrats have locked up 43 seats, ahead in 2 more

House: Republicans have locked up 243 seats, ahead in 5 more  (291 needed for a two thirds majority / super majority)
House: Democrats have locked up 175 seats, ahead in 12 more

Governors: Republicans have locked up 31 seats, ahead in 0 more
Governors: Democrats have locked up 15 seats, ahead in 3 more

I would like to invite folks to use the Los Angeles Times Senate, House, and Nationwide State Gubantorial candidate breakdowns.  It's a fairly good indicator of where things are headed.
Note: Make sure ALL is selected.  Then you can click on Senate, House, or Governors
These categories show current wins and gains.
(Ex: Republican = 44 +4 / Democrats = 38 +2)  Note: + denotes leading in that many races in addition to already locked up

We do have the majority in the Senate, but the problem is the same one we always face.

We allow people who are Democrats to fly our flag.

By the time you have McCain, Graham, Snow, a number of others express their views on just about any issue, you’ve lost the debate.

Our majority won’t be worth a pile of beans on some issues.

RINOs are the perpetual death of us...

So was Gillespie, but both appear to have had little funding. Ridiculous when you think of what could have been done with the cash they spent trashing McDaniel
