This evenings radio offering is a 55:52 program paid for by a Roosevelt PAC (or the 1944 equivalent) that features an impressive array of Hollywood and New York celebrities, as well as veterans and disaffected Republicans, making a last minute appeal to vote for FDR or risk all kinds of terrible consequences. It begins with a song by Judy Garland and ends with a prayer by the President himself. Humphrey Bogart is MC. If you have never heard the singing trio of Groucho Marx, Jimmy Cagney and Keenan Wynn in action you should give it a listen. Everyone is invited to check back to tell us of your favorite song lyrics or other bits. Todays Democrats may be good at hardball politicking, but they didnt invent it. This broadcast is an iron fist in a velvet glove. Click on the link below to listen.

At 62 years old, he’s not looking too good. Will be dead in about six months.

Didn’t realize how bad Garland was as a singer. That was pretty bad.
