[Vanity] Silent Campaign Exposes the Democrats
Vanity | 11/8/2014 | Self

Posted on 11/08/2014 3:36:08 AM PST by sr4402

The Republicans did not have a national campaign except to send back Obama's words to haunt him. It was a nationally silent campaign and whoever came up with it was a genius.

As long as the Republican spoke out about any national issue, the Lamestream Media would speak out against it. Whether it was abortion, healthcare, racial bating; it did not matter, the media would take the side of the Democratic party.

By avoiding speaking on these issues and focusing like a laser on Obama's misstatements and obvious mistakes (Ebola and ISIL), they avoided the Democrats and the Lamestream Media's trap.

Whoever came up with it this time was a genius. But it will only work one time. The Democrats and their nasty henchmen in the media will only redouble their efforts. They will use more race baiting tactics, they will keep up their efforts to make the problems that arise from their bad policies from being discussed and they will continue their hopes to give illegal aliens our votes (you can count on it).

No, this time the silent campaign worked and the Democrats were exposed for what they are. Lets just hope that the American people remember and decide to return to our founding principals rather than to follow the paths the Democrats were on.

It was amazing to see a win by people who ran with no agenda. The agenda became Obama’s failures, and it created an interesting mandate. “Stop Obama!” So they were elected to accomplish this. Will they?

It was BRILLIANT. And it’s true, once the Republicans really say something about themselves or their vision, that becomes the issue...and Obama fades. We didn’t let that happen, not this time!

Howz about that? Repubs doing nothing turns out to be a successful vote-getting tool.

FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA---What the Republican takeover looks like as of midnight 11/5---some staes undecided.

Good question. If they take Obama's upcoming Executive Amnesty Order and ask for an injunction before the Supreme Court, I believe they will. For this is Obama's weakness, he is operating outside the law IMHO.

For once they establish that Obama is operating outside the law, his other illegal acts can be rolled back.

As for Obamacare, I think the Republicans need to immediately pass a bill outlawing the Individual and Employer Mandates. Obama will veto them, however this will transfer the fallout from Obamacare onto the Democrat/Liberal/Progressives.

As you know, the plan is to blame the Republicans for the bad economy next year one the Employer Mandate and Obamacare Taxes hit. It's the typical Democrat/Liberal/Progressive Bullying tactics. Blame the other for the problem you've created.

Yup, did exactly what the zero did when he ran the first time.

Now conservatives need to get together and actually take back the nation the same way the communists did, only faster.

The biggest department would be education.

I was keenly interested in those blue-infested blobs shown for Georgia, so I gave it a thought and tried a few searches on Google. I ended up with my answer when I Googled “Georgia County Map of SNAP Usage”

I got this link:

http://swampland.time.com/2013/12/04/interactive-republicans-more-likely-to-have-constituents-who-use-food-stamps/

which is an interactive map of the US showing % of SNAP usage of the US. Curiously, the map is intended to show that Republicans are more likely to have constituents on SNAP than Democrats (go figure).

The blue blob around Atlanta is understandable, but the south west corner was not immediately evident before I examined the SNAP usage. If you zoom in on the interactive county SNAP map, you get your answer, they are all largely 25% or more (very many over 30%) on SNAP.

Even more interesting is the fact that there are many over 30% counties in the mid-east half of Georgia near the SC border, but they didn’t go blue. The winners are: Early County and Taliaferro Georgia who weigh in at 41% on food stamps.....

BTW, this interactive map is for the whole US, so have fun with it.

I know it severely depresses a co-worker when I show him the truth about his beloved socialist. He knows how stupid and hypocritical I know him to be as he continues his support for the evil side.

First things first. They are back to Iraq and Afghanistan. The administration is going to pivot, put additional troops into Iraq and then the left and MSM will spend the next several months planting the seed that Republicans are to blame in the heads of Americans. This is a given.

“Whoever came up with it this time was a genius. But it will only work one time. The Democrats and their nasty henchmen in the media will only redouble their efforts. “

I humbly disagree. The two things that will not only fire up the base, but also turn the middle against the right is abortion and gay marriage. Conservatives cannot win the cultural war from Washington. The cultural war MUST be fought at the community level, in the churches in the schools, but never on the front page of the NY Slimes.

For this strategy to continue to work, Republicans need to take back every bill that is on Reid’s desk, hack them up into single items and send it back to Obama. Something like Immigration Reform needs to start as a single bill addressing border security. Now Obama, in front of the entire country must sign it or not. Make sure nothing other than wall off the border is in the bill. Wash, rinse and repeat for Obamacare and everything else.

Keep it simple. Keep it narrow. Americans have been dumbed down by the left so we cannot comprehend complex issues. Close the border, yes or no? Is as simple as it gets.

The problem is that there is not a lot of difference between that map and the 2012 map.

‘Genius’? I think not. Simple logic. When Republicans speak, they piss off libs. Don’t speak and pissed off lib/centrists vote the other way.

This was no ‘victory’; it was “we’re throwing you a bone...do something”.

I bet we get a ‘compromise’ on immigration, the first of many ‘compromises’...

THIS NEEDS TO GO VIRAL----STOP OBAMA IN HIS TRACKS :

(1) Fund every penny that is budgeted now.....except defund all DHS, ICE, HHS and USCIS' rubber-stamp activities. Defund anything and everything that directly and indirectly deals with amnesty: work permits, green cards for illegals, gravy train subsidies, re-situating unaccompanied minors w/ families. Then let Obama defend his amnesty E/O or take the blame for the entire shutdown himself.

(2) As a further warning----no votes on ANY Obama nominees until Jan 20, 2017. No judges, No Attorney General, no subcabinet secretaries. NOTHING----thanks to the SCOTUS ruling, Obama could not recess-appoint ANYONE, if the House declares the Congress is always in session.

=======================================================

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), has set up an active war room dedicated to undermining Obama's plans on immigration, and is next in line to chair the Budget Committee. From that perch, he would have the power to set spending parameters that undermine the president's moves.

=======================================================

Here's some ammunition for the fight, Senator Jeff:

Americans demand their government and its duly-elected legislators escape the Third World stranglehold burdening us. America belongs to its lawful citizens---not a bunch of greedy criminal invaders salivating to board the US gravy train.

==================================================

.....a secret draft solicitation for bids issued Oct 6 by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS---a DHS agency) states potential vendors must be capable of handling a “surge” scenario of 9 million ID cards in one year “to support possible future immigration reform initiative requirements” ..... the Obama administration has quietly begun preparing to issue millions of work authorization permits, suggesting the implementation of a large-scale executive amnesty may have already begun...

ACTION ALERT: USCIS is headed by Obama appointee---Leon Rodrigues--Obama's errand boy. Rodrigues is rubber- stamping undesirables from 144 countries into the US....including those from contagion-ridden Central America and Ebola- stricken countries. During FY 2013, the DHS website showed US Border Patrol agents apprehended 112 immigrants from Guinea, 231 from Liberia and 145 immigrants from Sierra Leone,----three countries currently experiencing the most cases of Ebola.

SIGNIFICANTLY USCIS Rodrigues also oversees EB-5 visas. Under Rodrigues' purview---EB-5's are said to involve major threats to US national security:

ARE OBAMA/RODRIGUES SELLING US CITIZENSHIP TO (a) MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS-(b) ISIS TERRORISTS---(c) CONTAGIOUS ALIENS ?--

In an earlier statement, Sen Charles Grassley (REPUB--IOWA) said ICE identified key vulnerabilities in EB-5 visas

1) Export of sensitive technology/economic espionage.

2) Use by foreign government agents/espionage.

3) Use by terrorists.

4) Investment fraud by regional center.

5) Investment fraud by investors.

6) Fraud conspiracies by investors and regional center.

7) Illicit finance/money laundering.

==================================================

Rodriguez's confirmation hearings revealed he was a board member of Casa Maryland---a latino-centric advocacy group---pushing for unlimited immigration, and has connections to nationwide immigrant groups.

=====================================================================

INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY.COM REPORTED Secretary of State John Kerry warned of a new surge of illegals, just as Central America is being hit by a new wave of epidemics. Obama's open-borders policy is exposing Americans to disease, (and infecting our children).

In a background press briefing at the U.N. last Tuesday, a senior State Department official said Secretary of State John Kerry told his counterparts from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico that the pause in minors coming across our southern border was temporary, and that "we have to use this time to put in place more efforts, greater efforts to get at the root cause of this, because we know that those numbers may rise again."

The next wave may be worse than the first, however, because monsoon conditions, a harsh drought and the globalization of transport are ensuring that the 50,000 or so unscreened new entrants will be bringing a raft of new diseases with them.

Though little reported, the Caribbean is on high alert for the spread of chikungunya, known as "the virus of pain." Its Tanzanian-origin Bantu name means "to contort," describing the agony it leaves in joints for years. Some 183,000 cases were detected in the region this year as it spreads from the same mosquitoes that transmit dengue and yellow fever. Central America, according to a report in El Pais, is the epicenter. Puerto Rico has reported 2,000 cases and three deaths.

But the disease has worked its way up to the U.S.; Texas and Florida reported victims who have already contracted it without traveling to the affected regions. (Excerpt) Read more at news.investors.com ...

I couldn’t agree more with your strategy. I hope the Republican leaders are paying attention.

Are you sure you were responding to me? My post said nothing of Iraq or Afghanistan or blame, which is likely they will try, whatever goes wrong, wherever, whenever. It is the Democrat way. [That can also go both ways - Republicans can now take credit for these fantastic economy blurbs the government keeps fabricating, can’t they?]

My only context was that entitlements are perhaps the largest motivator for Democrat Voting. Abortion and Gay Marriage might be a factor when they get in the voting booth, but entitlement dollars is what got them there in the first place.

‘Genius’? I think not. Simple logic.

Genius solutions don't look like much afterwards. Folks chalk it up to luck, chance or anything else to explain away the results.

One of my favorite Kindle book series is "Galaxy Unknown". The heroine who is the Admiral, flummoxes the enemy space fleets with unorthodox tactics such as a "Madness Ray". The "Madness Ray" is merely a sound when broadcast over radio receivers causes their hairs to stand on end. This plus captured spaceships implanted in their midst to fire upon them with impunity. The result being that a huge war was won without any loss of life.

Her nemesis "Admiral Hubera" chalks it up to luck before the Admiralty board. When the Admiralty board head asks him to tell him what he would have done differently; Admiral Hubera is eventually left sputtering and muttering under his breath.

What would you have done differently than the Republicans that would have produced better results?

The Republicans deliberately avoided the issues of abortion and gay marriage in this last election. They were largely silent on these issues, which is my argument.

Do you want to try something else?

Well, I'll chalk it up to lack of coffee on your part:

When Republicans speak, they piss off libs. Don’t speak and pissed off lib/centrists vote the other way.

'Genius' from one perspective; logic from mine. Stated clearly before, imho.

If Republicans were such 'geniuses', we wouldn't have a 2nd term of the Puppet...for that they have a lot of atonement.
