A Russian hacking campaign against U.S. critical infrastructure has gone on since 2011 and puts hundreds of thousands of Americans at risk. Much of the nation’s critical infrastructure has been compromised by a “Trojan Horse” malware program, which puts everything from nuclear power plants to power grids at risk, national security sources toldABC News on Thursday. The Department of Homeland Security also released a bulletin on the “BlackEnergy” malware, which is connected to Russia’s “Sandworm Team.” In October it was revealed that Russian Sandworm hackers spied on NATO, Ukraine and the European Union since 2009 by taking advantage of a previously unknown vulnerability found on Microsoft Windows operating systems. The company fixed the problem shortly after it was announced in conjunction with the cybersecurity firm iSight Partners.

So, like WMD of Iraq, the US government KNEW but lied
anyway to hurt Americans.

Anyone who trusts this “American government” of Shia Islam
by Pelosi’s and Obola’s fraud ... is a fool.

The best coders I have ever met were Russian.

They have a knack for it. Perhaps it’s genetic?

Great coders in Serbia as well...more Slavs.

For the past 100 years, many intelligent Russians gravitated towards complex mathematics, physics and other very technical areas in order to avoid (as much as possible) the poison of the communist state.

It sounds strange to us, but to them the world of math and science was a mental escape from the evils of their society.

The computer science field is an offshoot of the math and hard science culture.

Seems like a lot of trouble when they could just take a cue from the Chinese and call Bill Clinton when they need something thats classified.

"Whew....I’m glad we never do any spying and/or hacking."

Kind of reminds me of Spy vs. Spy from Mad Magazine, except this is Geek vs. Geek. Did not the USA and Israel do something similar to Iran's nuke program and actually execute shutdowns or booms?

“The best coders I have ever met were Russian.”

Yet we broke their codes at least up through the 1980s.

Plus, unlike the PTB of the US, those in Russia have had the sense to value and nurture those who are born gifted technically.

If you stayed clear of politics, this traditionally was a way to join the small middle class.

You didn't see massive imports of mediocre IT people brought in to do STEM work that Russians 'can't and won't do.
