It’s also no surprise these comments came at an “academic conference.” You wouldn’t believe some of the stuff I’ve heard. A lot of the ivory tower academics are so insulated from reality and so used to being surrounded by those who share their extreme ideology that they have no compunction about spouting the unvarnished truth and some incredibly intolerant speech. But, because they’re “enlightened” and surrounded by like minds, nobody calls them on it.

What we didn't know is that Congress asked HHS to disclose all of its consultants. And the HHS refused to do so.
