Do the Brits have their own spy satellites?
‘’debatable’’
about you going stupid.....nope, some your stupid real..
Really Crude troll propaganda.
Look at the damn picture.....
The inset area, about a mile wide,
on big photo, measures 3 1/2 of my
screen pointers wide, and the airliner
measures about 3 pointers wide,
SO, if phony troll picture is to be believed,
the airliner is 4000-4300 feet long. Big Crock
I often work with high resolution satellite imagery and I can say that contrast silhouettes of flying aircraft similar to this one aren’t rare. The majority are light low flying aircraft but I think one in ten are heavy transport or airliners and as these are pictured far from airports I presume they are flying at high altitude.
As for doubts on how could a satellite be at that place at that time you need to live in 1960s to think this way.
These days you can expect to have every populated spot on earth being pictured literally every minute (and we have an active combat zone here) and in resolution actually better than that.

Yep the scale or size of the airliner seems off.
Inset picture looks to be area over a mile in length,
so the airliner is about 8-10 miles from inset area.
The size of airliner in picture makes it seem about
10-15 times actual size in relation to the scale of
overall area size. Looks overlayed too big...~
LOL. You are clueless about technology. It is not that I’m saying this picture is authentic but you can expect flying aircraft to look much bigger, unless it is parked at the airbase.
It is ‘only’ some 35,000 ft closer to a camera than the rest of the picture after all.
‘’’some 35,000 ft closer to a camera than the rest of the picture after all.’’
Well I’m a scientist and a math wiz, and an airplane
six, that is 6 with an x, miles closer to the camera,
than when on the ground, with the satellite camera 22,000
miles up, will only make the plane seem, 1/3500 bigger.
That is .03 % bigger. That doesn’t equate to a plane
seeming to be 4000 ft long in a picture...
It is baloney fraud you are pushing.....
It is fraud like the fraud of so called UN marked
copters in UKR, when the pictures were of UN in Africa.
Or pictures of blackwater guys supposed to be in UKR,
when the pictures were from New Orleans after hurricane.
Like about 5000 other fraud pictures you trolls posted.
To fake them? Maybe you should work on the next one where they will zoom in on the pilot, revealing him to have a swastika on his helmet and reading Mein kampf as he pulls the trigger.
Oh, I had already suggested that idea already on this thread (so you’re probably already working on it). A second version then could be zooming up on the plane instead of just the pilot, revealing two American CIA Cowboys standing on each wing, wielding surface to air missiles, and giving the finger towards MH17 as the latter crashes to the Earth. (I stole this idea from someone else, however, but it’s worth passing on.)

LOL. I have never laughed as much, ‘scientist’:)
Where have you taken ‘22,000 miles up’??:) You are certainly a type of scientist who heard that there and it here, never got busy to connect dots yet consider himself Einstein of the block.
In fact it is not coincidence that you bring this figure here, because 22,300 miles is a geostationary aka geosynchronous orbit which you probably remember from ‘Popular Mechanic’ or National Geographic shows. True, some satellites, including military SIGINT ones are sitting there.
The problem is you never did spend some time to learn that no photoreconnaissance spacecraft ever function at that altitude.
Contemporary photorecon crafts are actually circling the globe at high speed at altitude between under 100 to 500 miles.
Following recent advance in camera resolution technology and (more importantly ) wireless data link to download such a massive amounts of data we probably can expect someone to build a group of ‘big brother’ geostationary photorecon (it would be correct to call it video recon:) crafts to monitor the Earth realtime 24/7 but it is a matter of near (or not so near) future.
Don’t waste your temper, I’m not even argue for these pics us authentic, just calling some obvious bull crap on this thread.
Judging from this response I take it you're hitting the bottle just now, vatnik. It's 11am in Moscow, long past your traditional starting time.

LOL. I’ve just realized that I was to Berlin, Cairo and Istanbul more often that to Moscow. I’m not living by Moscow time, Puny. :)
BTW, may be you have some arguments for me and hubel to find out who are right or wrong.
Are you familiar with satellite reconnaissance?
So who do you claim to read satellite data for, Vatnik?
As for arguing "right or wrong," you need to read the link posted on this thread. Two examples from the break down, which is really unnecessary for all rational people, but might as well, just because I like to make fun of you:
"It is clear that the satellite map imagery is created from a composite of different satellite map imagery. Part of imagery is from historical Google Earth imagery, dated 28/08/2012 (co-ords 47°5712.22″N, 37°504.09″E)"
Photo of the plane side by side "Boeing top view" model:
"Finally, the source of the image was found by a simple image search for боинг вид сверху, or boeing top view in English.
They also note the logos and such on the plane are all wrong, as well as the scaling problem previously mentioned, though they didn't go into detail with the latter objection, but it's not necessary.
Another point, because I have a sadistic nature, the plane isn't on the correct course:
There's more, but you can read it yourself here:
https://www.bellingcat.com/news/2014/11/14/russian-state-television-shares-fake-images-of-mh17-being-attacked/
I wasn’t arguing for an authenticity of these pictures actually.
No, you were just trolling like the sleazy Moskal you are, as usual. When will the Mods do the right thing and remove you bunch of double-talking lying jerks?

In fact I was explaining rocket science to people here, who claims to be pros but factually pompously ignorant on issues they are jumping to argue about.
Your expertise comes from the bottom of a vodka bottle, vatnik. Go crawl back into it and stick your rocket you know where.

LOL. That I like in you is that you are honestly ignorant. You don’t even try to pose intelligent:)

If it was from a 100 miles up, the airliner at 6-7 miles
up would still only seem 1/16 bigger than on the
ground. That doesn’t equate to a plane over 4,000 ft long.
And just found out the airport in picture is.....watch
now here it comes, you stupid putinista..... is 2.5 miles
in length... The plane photoshopped or imprinted over
the photo shows to be longer than a 2.5 mile airfield.
You crooked trolls really are stupid.Pic so phony
it is ridiculous...
