Mom Questions School For Portraying Muslims As More Faithful Than Christians
Prophecy Newswatch ^ | November 14, 2014 | Kelsey Harkness

Is the faith of most Muslims “stronger” than that of the typical Christian? That’s what one public high school in North Carolina apparently is teaching students.

Outraged over the “correct” answers to her son’s ninth-grade assignment about Islam, a mother in Union County, N.C., turned to local news reporters to shed light on his school’s fill-in-the-blank worksheet.

Upsetting the mom most? A statement that read, “Most Muslims’ faith is stronger than the average Christian.” Read more at http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/2014/November14/143.html#umvfIRMpH3iCJefP.99

No mention of the difference in quality of the two faiths.

“...more devout than a Christian who shows up at church twice a year.”

Showing up for church is the only real, meaningful manifestation of Christian Devotion? Public prayer is the measure of the Christian?

Thanks for the update.

Even Western society’s flaws are “Christian” or “Christianesque.” Much of liberalism is trying to do Christianity without a Christ, instead deifying a government, a race, or what have you.

Here’s a picture of the family I posted about. How sad. Unfortunately as others have mentioned this persecution is going on throughout the world daily.

I wonder if the teacher has shown a powerpoint on the real “facts”!

In my opinion it is past time to homeschool in this district!

Of course the Muslims must be given “affirmative action” in the land where Judeo-Christian values have held dominance for so long. It’s only fair, isn’t it? < /sarcasm >

I didn’t see any mention whether the teacher in question was a ninth century cave dweller. Probably not, which in turn begs the bigger question for me anyway:

Do these non muslims who feel the need to lie on part of muslims and defend them think that they are in anyway buying grace and respect from the muslims? Do they think somehow that they won’t be separated from their heads when the time comes?

“But, but, I defended you and told everyone how peaceful you are!!!”

Slice

I believe that the left loves islam because it’s a violent, terroristic tyranny that’s much more efficient at controlling the unwashed masses. Something near and dear to their hearts.

Channeling the spirit of my sainted mother, who taught grades 1-8 in a one-room schoolhouse in southeastern PA, I have corrected Johnny's quiz accordingly. Partial credit for "f." which would have been correct with the dependent clause stricken, as indicated.

Parents need to band together as a force and hit this and other issues head on

Parents need to band together and start their own private schools. Don’t waste your time discussing your concerns with public school officials. They don’t care what you think. Just let them know you are looking into different venues for your children’s education.

Public schools don’t care what parents think or want for their children. Get together and start your own schools and tell public school officials to go pound sand — public schools are no longer needed. We’ve decided to go with something else. Bye bye.

“Holy crap!! The test shows clearly that the school is indoctrinating students using Muslim propaganda. Heads should roll (figuratively, I’m not a Muslim).”

Parents should be going to school board meetings and demanding a stop to this curriculum.

Not merely church attendance, but I'd also question how "devout" so-called "Christians" are who champion things like gay marriage. Plenty of people who self-identify as "Christian" in the U.S. are "Christian" in name only. I have no problem with the statement as written. No wonder the Islamofacists are taking over the world when so many on "our side" don't practice their faith.
