JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon has declared a state of emergency and activated the National Guard in advance of a grand jury decision about whether a white police officer will be charged in the fatal shooting of a black 18-year-old in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson.
Nixon said Monday that the National Guard would assist state and local police as needed, in case there is civil unrest when the grand jury's decision is announced.
There was no indication an announcement is imminent....

The indication there is a pending decision is the NG call up.
Hopefully they bring the M-60s and flame throwers. On a serious note, I am glad I am over 1000 miles removed from there.
Instruct the police and the National Guard to load with live ammo and shoot to kill.
They are there to protect the looters, my friend.
This is a good way to quell it before it gets started. He did say they would respond “in force” (not to be confused with “WITH force”).
Want to take the fight out of 1,000 rioters? Put up a wall of 5,000 police and national guard.
Probably to assist in crowd control during the area Black Friday sales...
And we’re waiting for the first NG troop to shoot .... or they’ll be unarmed and assaulted by out of town agitators.

The story is flawed. It is mandatory to say, “unarmed black teenager.”
