A caller to the Rush Limbaugh show just pointed out the fatal flaw in the Obama immigration plan:
Any illegal alien who signs up for a work permit, pays their fines/taxes, etc will automatically become a part of a data base that could be used to find them when the regime changes as it assuredly will someday.
Since Obama's Executive Order does not carry the force of law and is not permanent, this list could then be used to find the illegal immigrants and depost them.
Therefore no one will sign up for Obamas' work permit program.
They’ll still be able to work without a permit because they’ve been doing THAT for decades anyway.
Nothing will change.
The permit is not a condition to assure other goodies... they will STILL have it all their own way, make no mistake about that.
There was NO oversight or enforcement before and there won’t be NOW either.
Could only happen under a President Cruz administration, and then only in the unlikely event he would prevail over both chambers of a GOPE-controlled Congress that would fight him every step of the way ... as much as would a Democrat Socialist-controlled Congress.
Or Obola's third term...

Doesn’t matter. The real crisis isn’t the amnesty itself but the extra-legal manner in which it is being implemented. Whether the results of the action “work” or not is beside the point.
And of course the biggest flaw is that the GOP-e wants to deport anyone. They are only POed because they don’t get any “credit” for this. They want to be the ones to grant amnesty. Their worry right now is how to pass an amnesty bill now that people are up in arms about it. That’s why you only hear them complaining about executive overreach, not the substance of what Obama has done.
Sure. And who will track them down and deport them? McConnell? Boehner? McCain? Christie? J Bush?
Millions of people will sign up because they know there's no real threat they'll ever be deported. Plus, they can always go off the grid — yet remain in the USA — if the political climate changes.
I plan to sign up to Spanish websites and start posting that warning in Spanish all over the place.
That is actually a feature. The Democrats will use this as a mailing list for the next Presidential election.
See, the next President will have to re-issue this order, or else rescind it. The democrats will tell all these people to tell their voting friends and neighbors: vote for the Democrat, or else I will be deported.

I suspect a large percent haven’t signed up because they are just fine the way things are.
The GOP should pass a law in both houses of Congress next year that any non-citizen who registers to vote or votes in an election before becoming a citizen is guilty of a felony and can never become a citizen.
0bama may veto it but the GOP should then be able to make a big deal about how the Democrats never cared about the immigrants but were just trying to disenfranchise citizens especially Black Americans by diluting their vote. Enough Dems may get shamed or become concerned about backlash to override the veto. And the illegals who hold the bogus green cards may become too scared to register or vote even if the law never goes into effect.

Illegal immigrants will receive huge payments from American taxpayers under rules now being imposed by President Barack Obama’s unilateral amnesty.
The illegals will get work-permits and Social Security cards, and will be required to pay taxes, according to Cecilia Munoz, the former immigration lobbyist who is now a top Obama aide.
That means they’re part of the tax system, she said, when she was asked if the illegals would get annual payments under the Earned Income Tax Credit program.
“They are subject to our tax law,” she said, carefully.
Most households of illegals have very low income, and pay little in taxes. For example, in 2011, roughly 22 percent of immigrant households — both legal and illegal — were classified as living in poverty. In contrast, only 13 percent of American households were in poverty.
However, once illegal immigrants are enrolled in the tax system, they would be entitled to EITC payments.
The payments may be huge, and will rise each year.
According to the Internal Revenue Service, two parents with three or more children would receive up to $6,143 in 2014 if they earn less than $46,997.
A family with two kids, and an income of $20,000, would receive $14,590 in taxpayer funds this year alone.
Parents who earn less than the threshold would get $3,305 if they have one child, and $5,460 if they have two children.
The EITC program is already poorly monitored and may be subject to large amounts of fraud, according to critics.
Another study says that 47 percent of legal and illegal immigrants and their children are classified as living in poverty or in near-poverty, according to the Center for Immigration Studies, which favors reduced annual immigration.

This was the rumor when President Bush was pushing immigration reform. The illegal aliens were saying this was for Homeland Security gathering information.
Where my wife works, there are several Mexican girls who work in the housekeeping department and make minimum wage. They put down that they have 3 dependent children instead of zero and get an additional 6k each, every tax year. Another guy with the same company is illegal and uses his friend’s social security number and name and appears to be legal. Nobody even knows his real name. Another guy uses his nephews in Mexico as child dependents. Kaching!!! Massive fraud everywhere.
The database will be hosted at the DNC...
They will do the same this time.
Second it's not like DHS doesn't know where they are, they are not even hiding. You can fill a bus in front of any Home Depot in southern Cal any day of the week.
Its not a flaw in the EO, it's a feature.
