Republican Doug Ose has conceded in the race for Californias 7th Congressional District, the most expensive congressional race in the country this election.
Let me begin by saying that I celebrate the fact that our institutions and our laws provide us a system whereby elections can be peacefully resolved. I congratulate Congressman Bera on his victory, Ose said in a written statement.
Rep. Ami Beras lead more than doubled in a week, according to new numbers released Wednesday by the Sacramento County Registrar.

yes, I guess if a mountain splits a district, no reason that water cannot. A lake perhaps. But the ocean? can the tip of a peninsula be attached to anything other than the rest of the peninsula? Often, the tip travels across the ocean to be part of a district on the mainland.
See that district that the GOP won in Queens Brooklyn in a special and then the redistricting in killed the freshman incumbent.
also, NY 10 is a disgrace

NY14 is connected only by Long Island Sound which is the Atlantic Ocean.
see #23. I’ve decided it is up to outsiders to deal with CT. There are no allies within the state that are willing to challenge their own church leadership.
people in NY or MA may be willing to run border raids to fight the locals here.
Jesus wouldn’t give up. Gotta follow His methods of combating evil. We’re all counting on you !
He walked away from those who walked away from Him.
You gotta rain hellfire and brimstone on these phonies using His church for evil means.
if they get my license plate number on my car (as I am distributing subversive material), I better get an attorney. Lots of laws in Ct ... if you mention a candidate for public office, either favorable or unfavorable, you gotta be a newspaper or a registered PAC. Or at least say who paid for it. As soon as you put down your name as paying for it ... they got ya.
Also, lawsuits, etc. and trespassing issues.
issue B, in this state:
Group #1: only Endorses candidates in very select target races. 80% of races, no endorsement. They often miss the best races. They seem to tell people not to participate in the races unless and until they endorse, which creates a nightmare in the 80%. No input is welcome from membership.
Group#2: only selects a few races, fewer than group#1 and asks their membership to only volunteer for them for those races. They go negative constantly and spent more time opposing RINOs like Linda McMahon than actually supporting anyone. They ran a smear campaign against Mark Greenberg in 2012.
Group#3: Has a real good philosophy. Unfortunately, they allowed group #2 to infiltrate and control them. They will not support anybody that is not endorsed by group #1.
Group#4: Run by a nun. Most of them are unaffiliated voters. They do not vote in primaries, have no interest in candidates, only lobbying legislators. They allow no negative campaigning against leftwing people.
You can see how my buddy that had flyers against the gayMarriage Republican is not welcome in any group. In fact, Group#1 endorsed the gayMarriage Republican, even though he was unopposed.
The current NC map is a thing of beauty. All but the 3 rat districts were drawn to be 54%-58% McCain.
Given that you’re an individual representing yourself and only yourself, those “laws” would seem not applicable to you. You are, after all, exercising your right to free speech. If Connecticut wished to persecute you on those grounds, you’d have a helluva lawsuit to slap on them.
not the way it works.
I’d get fined and then when I hire a lawyer I win in court. But still have legal fees.
that is why I say to people that you better have a pro bono lawyer ready when you start passing stuff out.
Doesn’t look good for the Arizona Redistricting Commission:
This decision could be HUGE. Not only would this throw out the pro-Democrat congressional district lines in Arizona that yielded a 5D-4R delegation after 2012 and a 5R-4D delegation after 2014 (with the GOP legislature and governor being able to replace them with lines that would yield a 7R-2D map), but it could be used to overturn that ridiculous “fair districts” constitutional amendment in Florida (as applied to congressional districts) that is an impediment to Republicans drawing a safe 20R-7D congressional map.
I see that prick Norm Ornstein is shilling on behalf of the commission. I hate that guy.
Don't go wobbly on us again, Johnny.
I hope so.
I would be happy to make suggestions to the Arizona and Florida Republicans as to how to remap their states. :) :D
Redraw Raul Grijalva’s district into Sonora.
