Brown Family Lawyer: Grand Jury Process Against Wilson ‘Completely Unfair’
Mediaite ^ | November 23, 2014 | Evan McMurry

Posted on 11/23/2014 9:28:52 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

Benjamin Crump, attorney for Michael Brown’s family, called into question the grand jury proceedings against police officer Darren Wilson, saying the prosecutor was showing an unprecedented amount of deference in the case.

“Why do we accept that when police kill our children, we’re just going to have this grand jury proceeding, and it’s different from everything else?” Crump said. “It’s a problem with our system, when we have the local prosecutor, who has this symbiotic relationship with the local police department, and the local police officers, and has no relationship—”

“It sounds like you’ve prejudged what the grand jury is going to say,” Stephanopoulos said, somewhat taken aback. “Have you already decided the process is unfair?”

“Oh, the process is completely unfair,” Crump said. “99% of the time police officers aren’t charged when they kill young people of color.”

Crump said he was certain Wilson would get a fair trial if indicted. “I don’t worry about due process for Officer Wilson,” he said. “I worry about due process for the little black boy lying dead on the ground.”

What about the really little black babies being aborted? What the heck did they do to deserve being killed. When these race baiters get serious about stopping the abortion holocaust then I might think they give a damn. Till then they are just crying crocodile tears.

Considering that Ferguson is 80% black, that expensive social-justice Big Casino payday for Crump will be funded by black people, for the most part. It’ll be too late, then, to avoid getting raped by that grievance-industry pleader.

Ain’t life funny sometimes?

Life is pretty weird these days.

In the video, Crump stated that there was especially strong evidence of Police unfairness in the Ferguson Police traffic enforcement because close to 80% of the people pulled over for traffic violations in Ferguson were Black which in his eyes means Blacks are being treated with unfair racial bias.

He neglects to mention that 75 - 80% of the Ferguson population is Black so the percentage breakdown by race for rate of traffic stops is pretty much proportionate to the population at large

> What part of going after a policeman’s gun is a bad thing - do they not understand?

Well you know Wilson pulled 290+ lb Brown into the vehicle with him and shoved the guninto his hand and made it look Brown was attacking him so he could kill a black child right?..../s

Pfft. The Grand Jury is inherently UNFAIR -TO THE DEFENDENT (officer Wilson). The prosecutor presents the evidence, there is no judge or defense attorney to object to unfair, prejudicial, or irrelevant evidence.

The Grand Jury also gets to ask about anything else they might want to know. The prosecutor explains the law to the jurors. That’s why people say that a Grand Jury could indict a ham sandwich.

“Oh, the process is completely unfair,” Crump said. “99% of the time police officers aren’t charged when they kill [criminally expert deadly thugs who happen to be] young people of color.”

There.
Fixed it for the legal moron.
Embarrassing to see what qualifies as a bar-certified attorney these days.

Remember Rachel (”that old school!”) Jeantel who testified at the Zimmerman trial and then decided she wanted to be a lawyer?

The Brown parents - who apparently couldn’t be bothered to raise their son - are like that in that they are now running all over the world making pronouncements that are supposed to be worthy.

Why don’t they just stay home and think about the person they created and how he ended up like this? Just pathetic.

This racist, flimflam man talks as if he skipped criminal law when in law school. The Ferguson grand jury is following the usual legal procedures. If he does not like the result, he and the Brown family can file a civil action and request a federal criminal investigation.

“I worry about due process for the little black boy lying dead on the ground.”

Wish they were SOooo concerned prior to Saint Swisher going all go go gorilla on the shopkeeper and officer Wilson.
If they don’t understand that, then they need to hear this:
If the punk wasn’t a violent criminal and actively in the act of assaulting people, he would still be alive.
If they taught their illegitimate offspring to behave, there wouldn’t be an issue.
There is only one “culture” that creates criminals and then blames others for those same criminals ending up dead.
And that is uncivilized thug culture.
Correction: cavemen had more sense!

Benjamin Crump won’t think it’s fair until Wilson is dead and he cashes his checks from the inevitable movie/book deals.

Folks over at The Conservative Treehouse were, I believe, the first to coin the term “Black Grievance Industry” ( “or BGI” for short). Whoever came up with the moniker really hit the nail on the head.

The predictability of their nonsense and demands has probably done more harm to US race relations in general, AND to the plight of Blacks in this country specifically, than almost anything else has. Obama, and the Blacks’ own cultural and political choices, haven’t helped matters either. They’ve essentially brought their own failings and sufferings on themselves. It’s to the point where it’s neither trite nor tragic nor even humorous anymore - it simply evokes nothing emotionally anymore beyond a yawn or shrug, and perhaps some simple self-preservation planning.

So Crump gets away with witness tampering in the Martin case where most all of us would be at least disbarred were we lawyers. Where’s the fairness there?

What was this teens record as a juvenile like, because before he was reaching for Wilson's gun in the police care he was busy being a felon treating a store owner like a rag doll.

Why all this trouble over what seemed to be a young piece of garbage?
Didn't his mother also attempt a felony not that long ago.

Maybe we need to see less ego among the youth and more respect for other people and the stuff they paid for.

Needs to be released on “black” Friday and then open the doors at Walmart. The locals will be easily identified by the professional agitators at that moment

Was wondering about them looking into other aspects of the situation. Could they also indict his buddy for theft? Individuals for burning / destroying property? Inciting a riot etc?
