A grand jury has reached a decision on whether to indict Darren Wilson, the white Ferguson, Mo. police officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager sparked days of turbulent protests, sources close to the process said.
Sources said that press conferences are being prepared by the county prosecutors’ office and the Missouri governor. Those press conferences will likely come later today.

That makes sense. But it’s also helpful to let the temps keep on falling. I read somewhere that wintertime is the least amenable to riots. Makes sense, if you think about it. Pretty soon it will be in the thirties out there. As long as the rioters can be kept out of stores and prevented from starting fires, the cold will be prohibitive.

Oh. That makes all the difference in the world. I only hope for a just decision made on the facts and not on intimidation or racism. If it were my child I would understand the danger he put himself in via his actions but still would be heart broken and angry. I would accept a non criminal outcome but would have always hoped for a taser instead of bullets.

Indicting the cop is a no brainer, takes all of the pressure off of the politicians and puts it on the jury.

One other thing. If you’ve been following the Brown family attorney’s comments lately, he’s been sounding increasingly angry and bitter. He’s pretty much condemned the entire grand jury system. It’s clear he’s not expecting good news.
Agree with you about the family’s heartbrokenness. I would just add that the mother criminally assaulting the grandmother for selling M. Brown T-shirts is not a good sign. Grief is one thing, profiting off the son/grandson’s death is something else, but a mother assaulting a grandmother over said profits is something else again.
I am betting an indictment as family already knows and if it was no, there would already be riots in the street.
I hope not, I was planning on celebrating with Officer Wilson.

What has been leaked is that there will be no indictment.
State Police scanner reporting broken barricades as some location and skirmish line set up.
The only thing we know for sure right now is that we still don’t know.
The politicians are begging people not to shoot any rioters.
