Look at all the “eyewitnesses” that claimed Brown was shot in the back.
I find it very disturbing that some of these people aren’t prosecuted; while some may have been unsure as to what they saw, any that later admitted that they weren’t even present should be jailed for years. This cop could have been wrongly imprisoned for a long time...
“My sense is that it’s totally symbolic and a way of representing powerlessness” in the face of inequality and militarized police, he said.
That's exactly what I was going to say. And after all the dust settles the narrative will be: a racist, white cop gunned down an innocent black "baby" for walking down the street. I'm convinced 90% of the black Americans are immune to reality.
The word spread like the guy tells you what horse to bet on.

The attempt by the Brown protesters to enter shopping areas today with their “hands up, don’t shoot” chant is falling on deaf ears, both Black and White, for obvious reasons.
Simply because for the reason that folks, be they black or white have had ENOUGH.
Bringing up facts is racist and “acting white.” Emotions, superstitions, and mythology are the way to go - that’s acting “real.”

In TRUTH, the FACTS serve to CORRECT any such NONSENSE. FACTS are neither black or white, JUST COMMON SENSE.
this video is not all there the part where the thug threatened the store owner was not there.the article with the video shows how they are trying to make it seem the thug was going to pay..really sad when these papers tell lies to keep stuff going.read most of the comments.

Soon, “Hands Up. Don’t Shoot!” became a rallying cry for protesters in the streets of this St. Louis suburb and a symbol nationwide of racial inequality for those who believe that minorities are too often the targets of overzealous police.
Yet the witness accounts contained in thousands of pages of grand jury documents reviewed by The Associated Press show many variations about whether Brown’s hands were actually raised - and if so, how high.
To some, it doesn’t matters whether Brown’s hands literally were raised, because his death has come to symbolize a much bigger movement.

There's a lot of hidden anger out there. Not anger at a white police officer or "the system" in this case, mind you. The real anger here is anger at themselves ... among professional malcontents who realized way too late in this game that they had cast their lot with a giant black dude who turned out to be a complete misfit, a loser, and a criminal as well. But a lot of these people are so emotionally stunted that they would rather double down on idiocy rather than admit they were wrong and admit disappear quietly.
Plus they know that their “15 minutes” is about up and they know that the “conservatives” are starting to take back the nation back and are now are on the “losing” end of things.

I don’t care if his hands were raised or not, because from the officer’s perspective it’s a minor detail. Bad guys from time immemorial have pretended to surrender in order to get close enough to attack; the threat was in Brown’s refusal to stop coming nearer, not in where his hands happened to be at the time.
A weak attempt at damage control by American Pravda. The “hands up” meme is becoming known as a lie, leeching energy out of the current Days of Rage effort.
