Father-of-six Tyree Landrum was driving to one of his three jobs when he came across a line of Ferguson protesters blocking the road in the middle of the San Diego rush hour.
Furious that the demonstrators might make him late to work and risk him getting fired, he decided to get out of his car on the I-5 in La Jolla to confront the group of students.
He then told a photographer for ABC News 10: 'If I don't get there, I'm going to get fired. I've got six f****** kids to feed.'
Mr Landrum's reaction on Wednesday has since gone viral, and has drummed up support from hundreds on social media.
Meanwhile demonstrations have continued across the country in the wake of the decision by a grand jury not to indict Darren Wilson who shot unarmed teen Michael Brown.
Many other drivers around him shared his anger, including nurses in their scrubs en route the hospital, and got out of their cars.
Mr Landrum then approached one protester standing with a bullhorn shouting: 'No justice, no peace.'
He ripped the device from him and replied: 'Hey, I feel you; we ain't got no justice either.'.......

I wouldn’t do it, why create any incident? You would just be giving the protestors reason for suing someone. Just call the boss at work and tell him what happened on your drive into work..!

Wastedyears is talking about a need for personal responsibility in one’s life which is certainly called for, and the father is showing that kind of responsibility by working three jobs.
But there’s a lot we don’t know about this man’s situation. Were there multiple births involved? Has he taken in other people’s kids that had no other chance in life?
It might be more than just basic lust in play here.

Free republic has a history of people expressing their opinion on black birthrates, welfare and the abuse of such ...without the benefit of all the facts and not reported as abuse. Which most certainly it is not!! I personally agree with what this father is doing but I also wonder if he would be defending someone else’s rights or is it just that it affects him!!
I think it should stand - there's no rule that states "Do not post stupidly."

Wow, that's your thoughts on what happen? Very deep. Other than the fact that he has six kids, what does that have, anything, to do with what these people were doing to others? Does having any kids really change anything?

At least he WANTS to work instead of taking everything from those who do. He said there is a right way to resolve the problem but blocking the freeway is not one of them.
I support this guy and all those who were delayed. Arrest the protestors for blocking that freeway.

By the looks of that traffic jam, I think you would have a lot of “friends” when it came to doing those citizen arrests.
