Oil is still falling.

In afternoon trade on Friday, West Texas Intermediate crude prices in the US dropped more than 10% to settle at $66.15 a barrel, a more than $7.50 drop in just 24 hours.

At one point on Friday, WTI futures briefly breached $66.

Brent crude prices, which are the global benchmark, also cracked $70 a barrel on Friday.

Earlier this week, WTI prices were at around $76 and Brent prices were near $80.

Check out these sites. You’ll never buy anything range-free chickens, grass fed meat and organic fruits and vegetables. And forget the sugar and refined grains.

No wonder America is sick!!! I, for one, am sick of legislators who have betrayed their constituents by allowing this food to be sold in grocery stores. It is criminal.

Good post. The politicians will likely seize this opportunity. At the same time, lower fuel prices may also make it more politically convenient for Obama to squash the Keystone pipeline.

I'm not clear on just what you are proposing.

Can you expound a bit?

Glad I moved to Ohio, gas is cheaper here although these low prices help me save some on my long commute.

Well, the break even margin for a lot of oil is from $70 to $60 dollars. The highest is in Utica, the lowest in Marcellus ($40!). If domestic refining and transport was put in place to lower cost production, it could survive. If American oil toughs it out, the Saudis and Russians will shoot themselves in a the foot, because eventually the infrastructure and cost cuts will occur leading to more domestic production and more domestic use.

Here in Quebec Canada the land of unicorns and progressive kumbaya, the price of a litre is $1.21 CAD. Equivalent to $4.54 a US gallon. Converted to USD, it’s about $4.00! Keep in mind that we export 80% of our oil to the rest of the world (most of it to you guys). We get robbed robbed robbed at the pump here but hey Peter has been paying Paul with Harry’s money for half a century. And we are in deep doodoo given that good paying jobs are flying out of here faster than Canadian Loonies heading south.

“Should be $40 a barrel.”

Not if you want to have any of it. From what I have read, $60. oil will keep our fracking people in business, but much lower and that source of supply will start to dry up and with it the attendant price increases. So it would seem that we are about there price wise, but it’s o.k. because where it is today destroys our enemies economies which should be a paramount objective. And maybe OPEC will now just have to increase production to get their sorely needed revenue. I just hope that the Venezuelans get busy and string up Maduro and his whole government, and that it drives Cuba under as well.

Legislation has given us corn syrup, refined sugar, genetically altered grain and vegetables, genetically altered meat - not to mention the questionable produce and meat being imported to America. Check the labels for yourself. See how much high fructose and additives you are ingesting. And what exactly is in your meat and how is it processed?

The health of America depends legislation that protects the consumer.

What am I proposing???? Healthy food for a strong nation.

This is good! Now maybe that a$$hole William Devane will loose his job annoying us with his fatuous TV ads which show him in his lavish surroundings which he claims are all due to his buying gold! Maybe his last ad will show him personally cleaning up after one of his horses!

“Recall how rising fuel co$t$ led to trash haulers, lawn care companies, moving companies, etc. raising their prices so high?”

Well,I still mow my own lawn, but I have noticed that our garbage and recycling services contracts all have a fuel surcharge. So their bills have to go down when then can’t show the town that their fuel costs are still too high.

So, from your chart, now that oil is $66. ALL of these bloodsuckers are in the $hitter. They’ve formed a circular firing squad and are starting to shoot at one another. Way cool!

To much soy additives in it ?
Or ? It might say “ beef “ in it, but could have other types of meats in it.
Read the fine print.

Never eat at a Chinese restaurant right next to a pet store or puppy store.
