Good Political Plan. The shutdown of Homeland Security (post March deadline) will hardly be noticed, and focus the issue of illegals.

This is Krauthammer’s plan, is it not? There is an article on Breitbart including a video clip wher he advocates a 1 year CR for everything but HS and EPA, with those two depts getting a 3 month CR.

Predict Obama won’t go for it. He will use the same argument he used during the last budget battle, namely not funding things piecemeal. The enemedia will back him.

Does it gut Obolacare? Does it fund border security? No? Then trash it. Force Obola to veto the budget and shut it down. Period.

Bonehead is a worthless t*rd.

Sorry for the language, but that’s about the best one can come up with if honesty is required.

Get rid of this loser.

If not, the GOP can kiss their sorry RINO *ss goodbye.

Rogers is the one giving the printing of illegal ID cards to General Dynamics, remember. The section of the ‘86 Simpson-Mazzoli act require that the Congress be given two years’ notice of intent to print SSNs for illegals.

No good. It defunds neither Obamacare nor Amnesty.

The GOPe is just as complicit as Obama for Obamacare and Amnesty.

I didn’t read anything in there about actually passing a budget. Just more CR nonsense.

The EXEMPT continue DeathCARE/ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE
because they, and their Staff, .... are EXEMPT.

That survival is the only thing they care about.
Not open borders. Not the treason.
Not Benghazi. Not the IRS.
It is all about the EXEMPT, for the EXEMPT,
paid for by the stupid grubbered taxpayers.

The Reps always like to postpone confrontation. So now we wait until March to fight. Will we? And Obama now has at least four months to start the processing of the illegals.

Although those engaged in law enforcement in DHS will be allowed to function, I can see Obama and the Dems making a big deal about our fight against terrorism being held hostage to immigration reform.

And will the GOPe try to get a CIR bill passed prior to March? I would like to hear from Steve King and Jeff Sessions before giving this plan a thumbs up.

Bonehead really doesn’t have a choice, he has to do everything possible to hamstring the New Majority so as not to upset the Club. All that matters is the Club, got it?

The President will threaten a veto. Why would he avoid the fight now, give the GOP an “open” govt where they can just shut down homeland sec in March?

The only positive thing about this plan is that Obama will threaten a veto, and then the House is that much closer to either a shutdown, or a CR for everything until March (no lame duck CR).

“Boehner says chamber will vote to disapprove of executive actions but in favor of funding the government.”

“Disapprove”? Disapprove!!!! The correct verb should be “stop”, “cancel”, “eliminate”. The drunk is already starting to cave.

You left the following out your excerpts from the article:

The two-part plan, which GOP leadership laid out Monday evening to some lawmakers, is designed to give Republicans an opportunity to express displeasure with the White House’s move on immigration while avoiding a shutdown.

The disapproval of Obama’s unilateral action — which states the executive branch cannot selectively :enforce immigration deportation laws — won’t change much, since the Senate will likely ignore it.

"Express displeasure" amounts to surrender.

Someone explain to me how this is any different then what happened last year. Put off budget issues until spring then we fight.

Then came spring and McConnell backstabbed everyone to get a freaking 3 billion dollar boondoggle for Kentucky.

It’s a RINO Stampede. Watch Boner and Post Turtle take the party right over the edge of a cliff so the RATS can sweep in 16.

Political calls Tom Price and Hal Rogers "conservatives."

Wonder what they would call Louie Gomert and Tim Huelskamp or Ted Cruz (I'm thinking fire-breathing, rabid, racist TEA Partiers no doubt.)
