The White House says President Barack Obama is getting some medical tests at a military hospital just outside Washington after complaining of a sore throat.
Press secretary Josh Ernest says that Obama's doctor, Ronny Jackson, suggested that the president go to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, for some diagnostic tests.

21 days? how about Until Jan 21, 2017. Just to be safe he should stay away from pens and phones too.
He’s not getting a ‘simple’ medical procedure ... probably imaging and/or an endoscopy. The guy’s a smoker ... plus has a history of drug use/risky behavior. “Say aaahhhh” has been done already .... must be a persistent problem or worsening problem for the WH doc to recommend further testing at the hospital. My guess is ‘sore throat’ is a simplistic and the least worrisome description of what is going on that the WH could come up with for public consumption at this time.
Pres Obama diagnosed with ...”soft tissue inflammation related to acid reflux.”..... WH Physician says POTUS “will be treated accordingly.”
Throat pain, acid reflux ... can be signs of esophageal cancer & I’m guessing they checked/ruled all that out at the hospital.

My experience with the VA was that it took at least 28 minutes from the parking lot to the end of the line in the waiting room. Of course, Potus was going to an Army hospital and is CINC.
