Savage: The new spending bill represents a Republican betrayal of the highest magnitude
email | Michael Savage

Posted on 12/12/2014 2:52:10 PM PST by TBP

Dr. Savage poured over the new $1.2 trillion spending bill, noting the colossal waste and bipartisan "pork barrel" provisions it contains.

"Who is going to pay for this?" he asks.

"We've just experienced a Republican betrayal of the highest magnitude," Savage announced. In the latest $1.2 trillion dollar spending bill, Obamacare is fully funded. So is amnesty.

Boehner is out there, pretending he's concerned.

Meanwhile, they gave a billion dollars for the amnesty bill to help illegal aliens.

The budget is packed with what we used to call "pork barrel" spending.

Now they're called "riders," but it's the same thing: payoffs to insiders.

What else is in this bill?

Here's one reason Boehner went along with it: Now wealthy donors will be allowed to give 10 times more to political parties.

Plus another Republican-backed provision will loosen banking regulations, which means more corruption on Wall Street.

The useless Centers for Disease Control is getting an extra $30 million to "fight Ebola," which really means cover up what Ebola is actually doing.

The IRS's budget is being slashed, and they won't be able to target people for their political beliefs anymore.

So they threw us one bone, but that's about it.

Dr. Savage is spot on as usual. I agree with probably most of what he says 90%.

Sometimes he will say somthing very shocking. However, when he makes his full case, then it usually makes a lot of sense.

I think the Democrat and Republican Leaders are turing into Socilist/Communist.

The conservatives are fleeing the Republican party.

While many former Democrats are leaving the Democrats for the Republicans. For the record I know quite a few former Democrats that are now Republicans. This is because they the say the Democrats are too far to the left. These Democrats consider the Republicans their new home.

With many former Democrats voting for the Republicans and conservatives voting for the Republicans this past election may be the reason why their was such a sweep in the election.

In other words people have not really changed how they think. Only political parties..... The Democrat party is now the Socialist party, and the Republican party is now the Democart party 20 years ago.

The Tea Party is what the Republican Party was under the Govonor and President Ronald Reagan IMO.

Once upon a time I thought he was a basket case.

Now it would appear he is a genius and prophet.

After America showed Obama they rejected amnesty for illegals and Obamacare, Obama didn’t “get the message”. And now we know why.

He knew what we didn’t. These isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between Boner and his buddies on these issues or anything else. And neither for that matter, between “JEB” Bush and Romney and him.

It would make sense to push this meme, that the GOP leaders are on their side and not the “extremist conservatives”. It could help push the breakup

Stunning actions by the Repubs when you consider this: it wasn't just TP'ers that held their nose and voted R. A lot of people who would rarely vote R, did so this once being so exasperated with Obama and the Rat party.

Now they too get the msg; screwed you too in under 30 days, even though you just voted for us for the first time in X years. Nice way to build that coalition.

Its like the Repubs get the football on offense. First play from scrimmage [and a designed play too] is to give the football to the rushing middle linebacker, and step aside while he scores and spikes the ball.

The Repubs prefer the natural order of things - taking crumbs off the Dem table. They gonna place nice to the Dems so the crumbs continue when they lose majority as soon as they can pull it off..

The Tea Party will have to take over and capture the Republican Leadership within or run as an official 3rd party.

Which "Tea Party"? The "Patriots" with Millionaire Mary Beth cashing in on donations? Or the spam frauds TeaParty.net or TPNN? There is no Tea Party.

A better description of what the DC government has become might be fascism ruled by unaccountable oligarchs. That would be the worst of two very bad worlds.

That would assume they are not PHILOSOPHICALLY in league with Obama. I think prior track records indicates otherwise.

Well said and you are spot on.

It's time for Conservatives to recall Traitors like John Boehner and Mitch McConnell.

This is why the President is so confident. He knows he has John Boehner and Mitch McConnell in his back pocket. He knows they will push his agenda through.

With John Boehner and Mitch McConnell in charge you mine as well have Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid in charge. They are not that different in their thinking.

The advanate of John Boehner and Mitch McConnell is that they lie and betray to Conservatives that simply let it happen because they have a “R” by their name.

The “R” does not mean jack $hit anymore.

The Republican primary voters are the ones at fault: they are easily manipulated and mostly nominate awful candidates. Ask Sens.-elect Chris McDaniel and Steve Stockman.

Newton Gingrich never met a conservative cause that he was not willing to betray too.
