Patients outraged after losing doctors under Obamacare

Perfect. People are having to dip further and further into their savings in order to afford the rapidly rising premiums. That’s exactly what the Rats want. They believe it’s unfair for some people to have savings (esp. tax sheltered retirement savings) while others do not. Obamacare is yet another tool to rob prudent folks of their nest eggs.

If they were hoodwinked or duped, they were willing victims. Myself and countless other thousands tried to inform them of what would actually happen. Our warnings were met with ridicule and scorn. If the article is read closely, one can clearly see that although the insurance accepted the doctor, the doctor did not accept the insurance. It was the doctor that threw out the patient and the insurance.

That happened to me. To keep the doctor I had to get a different insurer.

The Republicans want obamacare Justas bad as the Democrats. Maybe not for the same reasons, but they still wanted it. They have campaigned every election since it passed on: "Elect me and I will repeal obamacare". And for the most part, they were elected. And obamacare is still the law.

They will be responses of" Not one Republican voted for obamacare." The Republicans did not have to vote for obamacare. There was enough Democrats in both Houses to pass it.

I'm not even on Obamacare, but I lost my doctor to it all the same - in her small family practice she found she couldn't afford both the initial purchase of the required computer system/software for the electronic medical records doctors are required to keep on us, AND the new yearly fee to continue using said software.

On the bright side, those 38 government agency's won't have my medical records...

Those millions of outraged Americans who demonstrated with the Tea Party when this monstrosity was being rammed down our collective throats were not duped. The millions who marched on Washington were not duped. The millions who voted out the scoundrels who passed this law were not duped.

I don't think those weasels really had any other choice until they have the votes to repeal and replace. If they stop funding it and get into an ugly stalemate, they will be blamed by the MSM for throwing healthcare into a turmoil. It would be bad if people that had their insurance cancelled and where forced on to exchanges lost it again. This is why I think SCOTUS will allow subsidies to continue for people in states that don't have their own exchanges.

ACA has barely started to kick in and 58% of American's want it repealed. That number should rise as more low info voters find out what is in it. The tax for not having insurance is small for 2014, but increases to 2.5% of income for 2015. Mandates kick in for companies over 100 FTE's for 2015. Mandates for companies with 50 FTE's or more kick in for 2016.

I think if you give this enough time, there will be enough democrats willing to cross the isle to save their skin before the 2016 elections. Schumer is already nervous..

This is what happens when the government decides what doctors will be repaid for the services they provide. They’ve been doing it since Medicare passed decades ago and the incoming IPAB (death panel) will now be doing it for everybody (except the Obamas and their ilk, who will be exempt).

If the cost of serving a patient exceeds the allowed reimbursement, the doctor has no other choice than to turn that patient away. He can’t go on providing these services at a loss. Part of the reason it costs so much to serve a patient is because it costs your doctor a fortune to employ all the paper pushers needed to fill out government and insurance paperwork - and remember, that part of the payroll is doing NOTHING to help heal you. What a waste.

Wow! Someone hit it the nail directly on the head. I'm going to steal that and send it to my email list. I might even become one of those posters that repeat the same message, ad nauseam.

The only problem is you have to be able to follow a line of logic, and have a longer attention span than a 3 year old. Most low-info types would get lost after the first or second sentence. Those who are so enamored with Obambi will never get it no matter what their age or IQ or education.

I don't understand why some people think every stupid thing the Fedgov does is caused by Satan. Socialism isn't Satanic, it's just controlling politicians who think they know better about how to live our lives. That's why they become politicians. Some do it out of mis-guided compassion; most do it out of over-sized egos.
