Sarah Palin: House GOP ‘flipped American voters the bird’
Politico ^ | December 12, 2014 | By KENDALL BREITMAN

Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said the House Republicans who passed $1 trillion-plus funding bill late Thursday “flipped American voters the bird.”

“It’s baffling really,” Palin said in an interview with Breitbart News on Friday. “The Republican Leadership in the House just flipped American voters the bird by sidelining the new Congress we just elected.”

Palin’s criticisms come the morning after the House passed a spending bill by a 219-206 vote. While the bill will keep the government open for another year, Palin and other conservatives are not happy that the legislation will fund President Barack Obama’s executive action on immigration and the Affordable Care Act — or as Palin calls it, “the mother-of-all unfunded mandates.”

“It stinks to high heaven,” Palin said of the bill. “Did arrogant politicians not get the memo that Obama’s agenda was decisively defeated in last month’s historic midterm landslide?”

She continued, “Good Lord, America said loud and clear, not just ‘no,’ but ‘hell no’ to Obama’s failed policies.”

Palin said she hopes that the 162 Republicans who backed the bill face backlash and called this an “example of the GOP establishment campaigning one way and then governing another.”

“It’s quite nauseating,” she said. “They promised they would do everything in their power to stop Obama’s executive amnesty — I heard their darn campaign speeches promising to do so! — and yet when they have the power to do so (power that we the voters just gave them) they tacitly endorse Obama’s failed agenda.”

We are no longer a Constitutional Representative Republic. We have been transformed into an Imperial Fascist Oligarchy.

We have already given that up, sold into tyranny by the very “reps” we voted for.

There is no stopping this kind of tyranny via civil means. NONE.

So unless we plan to fight back outside of the system they have corrupted for themselves, by every means we can muster - we have already surrendered to a fascist tyranny without a shot being fired.

I have seen this same reply from you on many threads lately, but have not seen you address the “plan to fight back outside of the system”.

What might that be, civil disobedience, armed revolution, or what?

All of the above and more.

History is a good teacher.

History teaches you cannot overcome a corrupt tyranny via civil means.

Ever.

You are absolutely correct. And boy do we have a corrupt one here. From the courthouse to the White House.

Maybe one day she can be.

Just not at this time right? Maybe after we get the Senate and House and then a few good Justices and the presidency then maybe it would be the right time.

Maybe we should just wait until we have a king then he could appoint her to something, yeah that could work.

</sarcasm>

You just witnessed the final nail in the coffin of the Republic. We are now officially, an Imperial Fascist Dictatorship with a rubber-stamp Federal Party Oligarchy. And it was the GOP who made that happen

In all honesty, is anyone truly surprised? Did anyone really and truly not see this coming?

They are what they are and perhaps now more will see them clearly for what they are and for what they intend to do with the power given to them.

As I look over the current state of the union, one thing is clear. You don't have to beat the US military on the field of battle to take US down.

You just have to buy the wrong people in the right places.

And if you can't buy them, or turn them, then place them where you want them.

That's the real war being fought and lost, right here, right now.

We're just serfs living on the battlefield.

Sad way to go out, especially with so much history to warn us and so many Constitutional safeguards built in to protect us from ourselves.

2 Yay votes from my state and they were both republicans. This is the senate of Rome all over again, except we can’t exact the deserved retribution these bastards deserve in the Roman tradition. The ‘o’ keeps playing the nation like a fiddle and the GOPe asswipes are rosining up his bow.

I agree. With that attitude, the Revolutionary War would have been over before it began. In fact, it wouldn’t have begun. This is merely a call to arms. Figuratively...I hope.
