GOP Elites Don't Love the Constitution

Late Saturday night, while few Americans were paying attention, the GOP establishment abrogated the last distinguishing factor that existed between the two parties. The GOP elites in the Senate joined Democrats in declaring our Constitution null and void.

Not only were Senate Republicans planning to rubber stamp the Cromnibus/amnesty bill – the worst and most consequential single piece of legislation since Obamacare – they wanted to get it done without compelling Democrats to take a tough vote defending Obama’s illegal actions. After forcing the poor senators to work over the weekend, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) finally leveraged Harry Reid into agreeing to conduct a vote on the constitutionality of Obama’s amnesty, as represented through the budget bill in the funding for immigration-related agencies. But GOP leadership would have no part in Cruz’s bold effort.

So visceral was their hatred for Cruz for keeping them at work another day; so callous was their regard for stopping Obama’s amnesty, that 20 Republicans – including Senators Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and John Cornyn (R-TX) – voted with Democrats to affirm the constitutionality of Obama’s act.

Then, all but 13 Republicans proceeded to vote for cloture on the “Cromnibus” bill, which consummates and accelerates Obama’s amnesty.

Their hatred for conservatives superseded their love for the Constitution or regard for the integrity of our sovereignty – even if that meant squandering an opportunity to embarrass the Democrats.

The GOP elites in the Senate joined Democrats in declaring our Constitution null and void.

That is the entire truth of where we have arrived in a nutshell.

I will add that the GOP has rubber-stamped all of Obama's dictatorship in exchange for perpetual power.

A pesky, troublesome impediment to appeasement and second-tier (mentality) power.

Bonehead and McTurtle are Dem plants. It’s the ONLY explanation for why they have, so nefariously, continued to fund 0bolaBoehnerCare, and now amnesty.

I will add that the GOP has rubber-stamped all of Obama's dictatorship in exchange for perpetual power.

That is true. However, there is a great following on this forum, that during each election cycle, chant, "If you don't vote for the Republican, you [fill in blank]." Even though the facts have manifested themselves that said Republicans despise Conservatives and their ideas add are allied with the Leftists [Democrats]. And they tack on the Principles have no part in politics or the voting booth".

The only difference I see now between the Democrat and Republican Parties other than the spelling is that the Democrats want to take the direct route and the Republicans prefer the longer scenic route to the same destination. The destination? Big Government that controls every faucet of one's life. That makes every decision, no matter how mundane for the individual. Along with the destruction of the individual for the collective.

It is time to refuse, to defy, to resist a tyrannical government.

It has no authority over a free people. It only has guns to our heads.

Therefore, we should no longer subject ourselves to their decrees and edicts.

Then, when they come to force themselves upon us - then we have Godly authority to fight back.

Such persons need to be called the traitors, plants and operatives for the Fascist Oligarchy and Dictatorship that they are.

Call them what they are.

I just sent an e-mail of encouragement to Senator Cruz to keep up the good fight. He alone may be the savior of the republic. Please consider doing the same.

The whole Republican Party is a Dem plant. There are a few recalcitrants allowed to continue as nominal Republicans so that the party still looks to some to be authentic.

They don’t even like the Constitution, in fact by current accounts they hate it, it restricts their power and subdues their authority.

Cruz, Lee, Sessions and a band of others love, honor and obey the Constitution, if enough of “We The People” stand with these few it may yet be possible to restore our Republic, I/we need to try and curtail cynicism so as not to abandon all hope.

Both parties are totally corrupt.

In many respects, the GOP is the most insidious of the two. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing whereas the Dems more open about what they’re all about.

I'm afraid I'm going to have a very hard go of it in !my waning years...I almost got thrown in jail last night for giving a rent-a-cop at a Greyhound station crap. I was smoking outside the official area around three o'clock. I asked him who the #@!# I was bothering at that time of morning as I was the only one on the street. He threatened to call the real cops if I didn't move.

Mindless minions are going to cause me no end of problems.
