Like most here, I read several newspapers every day. I am embarrassed to confess I do not remember the Republicans purchasing Direct TV.
Could you point me towards a source?
There’s a growing network better than Fox called OANN (one AMERICA news network). It’s not many areas yet but growing fast.
Well, TCM (Turner Classic Movies) was removed, and I see that it came back. Maybe same will happen with FNS if it is dropped. What the heck is going on with DISH lately?

I see you are the only person on this thread who understands what is happening. Dish works for its subscribers by keeping its costs down. This means they play hardball with networks to get the best deal. If that means some channels are gone for a few days or a week, so be it.
I survived having no CNN and Cartoon Network a month ago.
So many knee jerk reactionaries here.
And if they hadn’t played hardball with CNN/Turner, the increase would be more.

My Dish bill is going up $5 a month on Jan 1st.
Only FNC content we regularly watch is Megyn Kelley. With the exception of FoxBusiness, the remaining Fox content is a cesspool.
NewsMax is good up until O’Reilly/Olberman wannabe lightweight Berliner disrupts the midday programming.
Beck’s startup TheBlaze, content is getting much better.

It’s probably not that FoxNews isn’t popular. They just couldn’t take CNN off and leave FoxNews on.
If if weren't for my wife, I'd cancel all cable/satellite programming. I have tons of Blu-rays and DVDs and laserdics and can stream the rest.

Snipe is talking about a network started by Paul Weyrich which at one time was very very conservative it had the who who’s of the conservative movement on there but after some time the Gop took the network from Paul and ran it into the ground.

You *think* that is what is happening? Try Charlie Ergen is just a cheap bastard and is always trying to get a massive profit margin for his $15billion self. This is the same guy that makes salaried exempt employees clock in and out to go to the bathroom.
