Two uniformed NYPD officers were shot dead Saturday afternoon as they sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner — in what investigators believe was a crazed gunman’s execution-style mission to avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
“It’s an execution,” one law enforcement source said of the 3 p.m. shooting of the two officers, whose names were being withheld pending family notification of their deaths.
The tragic heroes were working overtime as part of an anti-terrorism drill when they were shot point-blank in their heads by the lone gunman, who approached them on foot from the sidewalk at the corner of Myrtle and Tompkins avenues in Bed-Stuy.
“I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” a person believed to be the gunman wrote on Instagram in a message posted just three hours before the officers were shot through their front passenger window.
“They Take 1 Of Ours … Let’s Take 2 of Theirs,” the post continued, signing off with, “This May Be My Final Post.”

I hope my post wasn’t misunderstood. I was trying to say that the term “crazed gunman” makes it seem as if he’s the only person who would do such a thing, when in fact it’s been advocated openly since Ferguson.

She doesn’t like to be called Joanne. She prefers Assita Shekur, it’s her adopted name since she has been in Cuba. She is Tupac Shekur’s aunt.
DeBlasio isn’t going anywhere. He will do the “our hearts go out to the families” routine. Not one media outlet will hold him or any of them accountable for the part they have played in escalating tensions that have led to these murders.
Di blasio’s fault , sharptons fault obamas fault holders fault, will we hold them accountable now? The only thing between us and them is the police, STAND WITH THE POLICE
maybe a better solution would be to put a cop on every corner in every troubled neighborhood, allow no one to pass by them without at least being challenged for being there,crack down severely for any illegal activity whatsoever, bring in for "questioning" anyone who is suspected of even jaywalking, and do this as long as it takes for these low lifes to reestablish themselves as responsible members of the community.....may take a while I guess.

When I turned on the news a few minutes ago and heard what happened I was stunned.
This is DIRECTLY the mayor’s fault.

They were both shot while they were sitting in their car. Maybe they took the helmets off. The scum bag walked right up to the car and just opened fire. They probably didn’t even know what hit them.

Did you see that video clip on Hannity the other night, it was a protest in NYC...they were chanting. Who do you want dead or killed? answer: ‘dead cops’, or ‘white cops’. I heard it but first part was hard to make out.
Maybe he will play it in reference to these two murders, it makes me think the leaders who allowed this should be arrested for inciting a murder, or as accomplices, depending on NY law.
And since he was a black muslim, they will have to be “protected” too.
