A NYPD officer was assaulted at the precinct, suffering a broken arm.
Early reports indicate the perpetrator entered the precinct building and attacked the officer.
All members of the New York Police Department are on high alert.

That’s part of the problem... Police are perceived these days, rightly or wrongly (and I’m sure it’s both) by not just the criminal but the average citizen as not being the friend of the people.
When you have no knock searches of the wrong house, babies getting killed or injured, dog’s getting shot... The police have some work to do.

How about we fence off the scum and police the fence to keep them in - away from peaceful society.

Back when I was working (which was about 20 year ago), you weren’t allowed past the front desk. You had to check weapons. The dispatchers at the front desk collected them through a strong box door and they were behind BP glass. Same thing at the jail. Of course, it was a small town and we were never checked, it was the honor system... this was a relatively small town of about 5K where we all knew each other and were friends. I’d guess they have similar policies in a place like NYC, probably even more strict. Nobody wants to carry a gun into an area where some drunk might do something stupid, better left to fisticuffs in those secure areas

#NYPDLivesMatter on twitter....support the NYPD officers by using twitter to insist the Mayor step down, and NYPD be protected....where is Gov Cuomo on this issue?? Only the UNION has spoke out, and they are against Mayor and Sharpton stirring up protestors.
What criteria do you propose to differentiate between "black punks" and just plain old blacks, or should they just all be killed?
