Who knows, 2016 could become the battle of the giants, as Bernie Sanders and Ben Carson face off to see which political giant, will become the next President of the United States.

I though he was already in the race. Well, if he’s still mulling the decision, I suspect that he will not run, but he will ‘threaten’ to re-enter the race if the actual nominee is not Left enough.

I think George McGovern would be too conservative to be nominated by today’s Democratic Party.

Doesn’t matter one whit. The libs will rally around their nominee, no matter who s/he is.

"I don't want to do it unless we can win this thing."

Man oh man, just goes to show you how insulated and removed from reality DC can make a person.

Sanders or Warren will make a half-hearted run to get the far left organized, then, when the time is right, pull out and endorse Hillary. The only “debate” in the Democratic party is for show.

"I don't want to do it unless we can win this thing.

That says a lot about the times we live in. Like gays before them ... the socialists will start coming out of the closet and admitting they are socialists instead of hiding from the label. It won't be that much longer (I think) when an admitted socialist wins the Presidency since they probably have the votes to do it now.

Why did you leave MY candidate off your list?!

Jesse Ventura is made of Presidential Timber, IMNVHO. Of course, he would need a Black-ish Woman to balance the ticket. Beyoncé springs immediately to mind.

I would be willing to hold all campaign contributions while momentum for this outstanding slate develops at the Grass Roots.

Iowa, here we come!

The dims are going to run a socialist/communist in the primaries to give Fauxahontas that ‘middle of the road’/conservative dim look.

Sanders, a socialist, said he grew up "solidly lower middle class" in a Jewish family in Brooklyn — his father, an immigrant from Poland, sold paint for a living —and his views about the distribution of wealth were formed early.

Well that puts him to the Right of Obama.
