If someone is threatening you with 10-15 feet or less, that pistol will kill them just as dead as a .45.

Well, it's no match gun. I have a Taurus PT-22 Poly, and I like it for what it is. It's more ergonomic than the alloy PT-22, and it disappears in a front pocket. It's been 100% dependable within the first 50 rounds after a cleaning, after which dirt starts to trip stovepipes. Which is fine considering its intended use.

As far as accuracy goes, it will keep all rounds on paper at 15 yards, but not 25, which is also fine.

North American Arms 5 shot revolver 1 1/2" barrel in .22

You'd be lucky to hit the doorway on the other side of the room.
