"Next they are going to grow arms and attach those." As long as they're not bear arms.....that would enrage the anti-Second Amendment crowd.

What a relief! I’m just glad they didn’t work on new limbs for amputees, or eyes for the blind.

Maybe older women would like a newer model.
Overheard pre-op request being made: "...and make it snappy."

With the limits of what was done (a) a person’s own tissues were used to extract their own tissue-cells that could be used, and combined them (b) with an artificial biodegradable scaffold, to (c) grow mature cells OF THEIR OWN for a missing or malformed organ, I have no objections.
Some obviously are going to have a different reaction, only due to the human organ involved, than we would likely hear from them if it were instead a “non-sexual” organ.

I’m going to be really impressed when they grow a male vagina.

Having recently attended a lecture from a prominent researcher in the field, the state of the art is that they can grow any one part (nerve, skin, etc.) but not a complex assembly of parts - like a limb. It’s what they are working on now - but they don’t know how to do it yet.

You can keep your lab-grown naughty bits. I’m totally sold on the free range kind.

I find the vagina to be rather complex, or maybe it's just the creature that it's attached to....
