Is Illinois still on the cusp of Bankruptcy or is Obama helping them stay afloat?

We are still on the cusp of insolvency here in the state of Illinois. There’s really no stoppng it. It’s just a matter of when.

DNA sampling and genetic ID legislation to document every live birth in the United States. Everyone seeking medical treatment will also have to submit to DNA genetic ID testing. The purpose of this is to initially ensure parental identification to ensure the US Government and States are not being billed for child support. Other purposes are to ID rapists, and to build a database to aid in medical research and preventative medical care.

Of course, the federal courts will immediately toss out any and all of this legislation that the elites do not like. Waste of time and energy. (Case in point: marriage amendments.)

“....except unless the GOP in Washington has their testicles drop, all will be lost to federal regulation and judicial fiats.”

I generally share your skepticism, but I think local action actually has legs. And its really a no lose proposition for us. Lets say that a local regulation for right to work passes. Well, you have right to work for some period of time. If its later superceded by Federal action, then its just more overreach to cite when pursuing article V or (preferably) other political means.

Someone needs to tell the boys and girls in Washington D.C.

Might put a little bit of fear into them.

But I`ve heard they didn`t pass the presumption of innocence law in regards to CCW use in defense cases, it`s still prove you were defending against an aggressor.

The SYG part was stripped out. It was widely regarded as unnecessary.
