I have lived in America for years.
Always found LEO’s to be super nice.
Too nice. They are like tourist information desks, “Where do I go to go to BuckkihamPalace”
etc.
Only personal experience with Police brutality was back here in Norway.
To the British media...
Thinking that this was absurd, I looked at another UK news source, for some perspective. LOL, it made the first story look downright reasonable!
I have a brother in law on the FWPD.
From listening to him at family gatherings I wonder how long until he is the central player in one of those bad cop stories that stays in the news for months.
In its defense, the department of internal affairs has looked into him several times. Not in defense of the department as a whole, they keep giving him third and fourth chances.
We have good cops and bad cops. Our system for removing the latter is almost completely nonfunctional until the problem officer kills someone or does something that goes viral.
I have no problem with this in principle.
I agree with you.
I think open carry is better than concealed.
This Texas reation seem silly.
All this while.
All the dumb kids in school wanted to be Police.
That was their dream. They were bullies in grade school...
All it says to those fence sitters on the issue that gun owners are gun NUTS!
If you must go armed, carry an pistol in an non attention grabbing manner.
Otherwise you're just an “attention whore” and hurting the rest of us responsible gun owners
btw now watching a lot of these vids.
All LEO’s are acting right.
So hurray for cameras everwhere.
I guess?
Back in the day, we lived in small communities, so cameras out in public do not bother me.
Act nice, like always
And you have nothing to worry about.
I agree an ak, or an ag3 is too much.
But, open carry. A Colt hanging from your belt?
Why hide it? Why conceal it?
Seems to be a lot of that going around. Related item out of Dallas: New Black Panthers running armed ‘patrols’ in Dallas area.

I have mixed feelings here.
We need police. In contrast to some here who seem to have an irrational hatred of anything related to law enforcement, I think a majority of cops are Really Good People.
But that percentage seems to be declining (based on popular narrative and family experience). The general ignorance of the importance of the rule of law and constitutional law is also infecting the police.
I think it is important that we the people vigorously defend our rights - including open carry. We have the right, and even the duty, to oversee the conduct of the law enforcement that we pay for. But we need to be careful that we do not *needlessly* antagonize the general public or law enforcement. Not at this stage of the game. Right now we need to assist, educate and improve law enforcement. The day will come when the police will choose sides and we want them on our side.
We need to win hearts and minds. Those that can be persuaded should be. Those that cannot be persuaded... they are the ones we need to be violently aggressive with.
Big cities` police ain`t used to guns as a right.
Big Cities`s police apparently don` t know any good guys with a gun in the city personally -they don`t know the good guys from the bad guys.
Big City cops don`t know anything between good and bad guys, really.
Small towns` police local boys been used to it [good guys with guns] for hundreds of years.
Everyone in a small town knows which ones are the bad guys.
Unfamiliarity with guns breeds contempt for guns.
Big cities` police are the problem coz they are unfamiliar with good people having guns.
Great post.
As I said, all my interactions with the Police in America was very good. I felt weird riding in the back seat of a Police car.
Just really really weird for a European who has grown up on Blues Brothers etc.
But, everyone was super nice.
This was in Boulder, Colorado.
It happened after my dorm mate drew a gun on me.
There and then I thought I would die.
Next time I met a LEO was on the highway 42 I think?
On the way to California, next to route 66.
We were driving and old wreck. Old Ford Thunderbird.
We were speeding a bit.
LEO lights up is lights behind us, we stop.
He comes to our window.
Having watched movies we say, “What’s the problem officer?”
He said we had a bad back light on the left, get it fixed, then enjoy America.
So my experience with American LEO’s are perfect.
They have been what you dream om them to be.
Perhaps most are.
The British are an emasculated bunch, aren’t they?
I don't approve of any group "confronting" LEO's in an attempt to promote our 2nd Amendment rights........
Such actions lead me to believe that there is an underlying group attempting to embarrass the 2nd Amendment community.......
I agree.
We have had two heinous murders in Norway over New Years.
None with a gun.
But, with axes.
You lose people to suicuide, and to suicide murder by having your gun policies.
Yet, when central globalist government are bearing down, I am glad I have a gun to defend myself.
I want an mg36. Been trying hard. Our special forces use it.
Why can’t I get one?
H&K makes the best firearms.
It has always been thew way of socialists to do false flag.
I do think these guys are serious.
But, the man behind the curtain cajooling them on, might be more serious still.
Now I have watched 30 MINS. of their spiel.
In everything the leo’s are acting perfect, imho.
That, it and that’s there-
The British are an emasculated bunch, arent they?
Thanks, for your reply.
OOPS ! HARD to fathom
These clowns give 2nd Amendment defenders and LEO watchers a bad name, IMO. They're nothing but jackoffs.
A group of Texas gun activists have taken to confronting officers on the streets, armed with video cameras - and assault rifles.
The "group" is apparently just two, maybe three, guys.
The group's leader, Kory Watkins, an Olive Garden bartender, open carries his AK-47 in grocery stores and while chatting with LEOs in their patrol cars.
Jacob Cordova, Air Force veteran, who hurls vulgar obscenities at police while they're in the process of arresting him, is the only other named member of the "group".
There's also a third guy, un-named, who holds signs that say "Cop With Radar".
They variously claim to be Ron Paul libertarians and members of the TEA Party as well as supporters of the dead Ferguson Missouri thug Michael Brown. "They've even taken up the mantra of shouting 'hands up, don't shoot' and 'I can't breathe'."
