Yet it was Rush who also famously repeated even today “You do not attempt to take out the king unless you are sure you succeed”.
He needs to re-read his last children’s book. Our Founders had no surety they were going to achieve anything but their own hanging.
Yet their principles told them that the risk is worth it.
Not so apparently by the Spokesman for the Conservative movement.
Lord help us. We are stuck on stupid.
Amen
Off mic he said “It’s stupid to support taking out the king. I might lose my million dollar gig.”
“He needs to re-read his last childrens book. Our Founders had no surety they were going to achieve anything but their own hanging.”
Good comment.
And another thing, Boner is not a King and the House is not a Monarchy.
Reminds me of what one of the founders said:
“We must all hang together otherwise we will all hang separately.”
The comparison to the risk of the founding fathers is ridiculous. If the risk were the same how many votes do you really think there would have been? How about 0. There are some in the US who would take that risk but I don't think you could count many politicians among them.
Rush is wrong.
