I’ve been exercising in gyms since I was 20. That’s 40 years. I’ve never seen anybody injured. I did see somebody put a 45 pound bar through a wall. He had probably six 45 pound plates on each side. He lifted it and it started to slip. All the plates came off one side and the bar was flung through a wall. Everybody in the way landed on their hands in the pushup position and not one person was hurt. I spotted the start of the episode and was too far away to help so I scurried away. Another bigger guy came over and wordlessly handed the culprit a clip to put on the end. The culprit turned bright red and apologized. (Never saw him again.)
