An accountant at a New York ad firm leaped to his death because he was hallucinating that the mannequins at his Manhattan office were chasing him, it was claimed today. David Caquais, 43, opened at window at Catch NY on the fourth floor of a building in Manhattan's Garment District and jumped out about 9pm on January 2. The New York Post reports that Mr Caquais screamed 'They're after me! They're after me!' as he ran around his office and attempted to kick out windows.

I just took a couple of bills out to the mailbox. It’s cold out there! But inside, there is Sunbeam. Shannon is asprawl on the back of the sofa by the window.

Speaking of bills, Bill has a job! He’ll have a drug test on Monday - not a problem - and hopefully start training by the end of the week. At the grocery store.

I have to download stamps.com again. It wouldn’t accept my card which means I can’t access the stamp balance. I’ve never had trouble with it before. I need it.

I think the extra lenses make him look rather spider-like.

The black one is a male, the gray ones are females.

"Life of Brian ?"

More like "Lies of Brian".

I'm working on another one now. It's set about a hundred and fifty years in the future, so I might have to make up a few things.

At least no one will be able to tell me I got it wrong!

"I think the extra lenses make him look rather spider-like."

I would suspect the outer lenses overlay their information onto the inner lenses' screens. One could use night-vision for one and infra-red for the other.

At least it's binocular, and that's the way I'd do it.

You could also overlay a radar image if you used a close-to-infrared spectrum, but that requires broadcasting; not very good for stealth observation.

People monitoring you could use the broadcast frequency of your wireless router to observe your physical movements. Keep that in mind if you're working on an insurrection.

Frisky kittens! I can see how that would become hypnotic, and you’d just watch them all afternoon, even after they go to sleep.

Perhaps, but I’m told using night vision goggles is like looking at the world though toilet paper tubes. My guess is it’s more toilet paper tubes to give some measure of peripheral vision and improve situational awareness.

They haven't given me the task of designing vision systems yet.

I can only do so much, you know.

Maybe you should trim your children’s fingernails as well.

Tax-chick, with her weapon-of-choice, a fingernail clipper, stands proudly separate from all opponents, while vast hordes of snarling feral beasts slink away in terror.
