President Obama plans to call for billions in tax increases on top earners – including a hike in investment tax rates -- in order to fund new tax credits and other measures the White House claims will help the middle class.
The president's proposals, which also include eliminating a tax break on inheritances, are likely to be cheered by the Democratic Party's liberal base when they are announced Tuesday night in his State of the Union address. However, the tax increases are all but certain to be non-starters with the new Republican majority on Capitol Hill.
The president's address -- his first to a Republican-led Congress -- will call for $320 billion in tax increases over 10 years. Aside from funding new tax credits including a tax credit for working families and expanding the child care tax credit, the White House says that money would go to funding measures to make college more afforable and accessible, including the president’s recently announced plan to make community college free for many students.

Nothing to stop this tax increase. The Senate and House are completely useless.
It is about the children, but not in a good way. The tax cuts are for families with two working parents and their kids in daycare. In other words, make it so that it’s a government incentive to be less involved with your children as a parent, let others be more of their teachers.
All money rightfully belongs to the feral government, after all.

In fact, I actually truly feel sorry for whoever the sucker is that wins the Presidency in 2016. The whole house of cards is going to crash down on their watch.
Tax credits=redistribution
Speaking of playoff football , Obama with his redistributionist/ Communist ideas,is like some gomer coach who brings an old game plan and formation to a game and expects to wow the opposition. “I’ve got this wing-T offense, and you just try to stop it ,” he slobbers to the roars of the crowd. The Boz’ doesn’t realize it’s been seen before and soundly defeated. Community colleges started off with pretty much the free approach, I guess through the years as they’ve slathered on layers of entitlements and administrators, they’ve gotten darned expensive?

Also known as the incredibly stupid tax. Inheritance taxes actually decrease the net revenue to government over time.
